Why does this outpost have a general stationed there? He may be low level but Johann and Matthew ask this question and have a few ideas as to why he is there. While discussing this we find out that the bugs did in fact lay a trap for our group of troopers and no amount of Hostess snack cakes (hoho’s) will help.

Whats in this guys head? Nothing really just some robo fingers belonging to an amazing Lt. Matthew asks a very specific question and Johann tells us the discrepancies from the script to the movie. We then talk about two famous generals that make it into this episode. Both are movie characters but only one can pull off a Psycho Crusher (at least I think only one..)

We get the tangenting out of the way within the first few minutes of the episode so we can talk about the minute in all its gory glory. Matthew brings up a future character that he has admired in most of the military movies he has seen and Johann helps Matthew out with an issue he has with some holes. Speaking of holes there are a ton in this minute and we talk about most if not all of the holes.

We’ve made it to Whiskey Outpost minus one comms officer but things aren’t all sunshine and good vibes. Johann tells a story about his time in Utah and how Wyoming is a nice place to get beer. Matthew has some questions about the Mobile Infantry’s structural design and why some posts are needed. Johann then tells us pretty much how all stories are derived from Star Wars but kind of not really.

The Hopper bug has revealed itself and we dive deep talking about its physical attributes. Johann wonders about the wings and how this bug evolved but we really ask that about every species of Arachnid in this movie. Matthew explains why a shot to the chest was the only way to really save Gillespie after possibly getting his spine severed by a giant stinger.
