Canada is preparing to have recreational marijuana legalized by next summer. An article in the Regina Leader-Post has identified a provision in the federal legislation that would allow children as young as 12 to legally possess marijuana.

Alberta rancher Jim Garner's home and business were reduced to rubble after the Kenow wildfire ripped across his property and the Waterton Lakes National Park.

He’s furious at Parks Canada and is demanding an inquiry into how his ranch and others were left exposed and not given proper warning before the fire was set to engulf his home.

According to Cox Automotive, Hurricane Harvey caused water damage in more than 500,000 vehicles. A significant amount of the original owners of those vehicles received replacements from insurance companies. Hurricane Irma is expected to have added significantly to the Harvey number.

What happens to all these vehicles? Many are fixed up and shipped north to be sold in Canada without the buyer being aware of the vehicle's history.
