The federal gun legislation. C-21 and its adendum which the government insists does not include hunting rifles and shotguns. We talk to one of the most engaged lawyers on the issue of gun legislation in Canada.

Lawrence Manzer is a New Brunswick Canadian Armed Forces veteran with 17 years CAF service. In August of 2012, Manzer, in the middle of the night, became aware of an altercation at his neighbour's home, seeing his neighbour engaged with three strangers. Manzer entered the situation with an unloaded shotgun. When police arrived Manzer was arrested and found himself criminally charged. The court case eventually was resolved in Lawrence Manzer's favour and his firearms were returned.

Casper the Great Pyrenees dog in Georgia. 20 month old Casper fought off 11 coyotes trying to get at the sheep Casper was guarding. Casper killed 8 of the coyotes, but was badly hurt himself.
