BIBLE TEXT : Isaiah 41:7-14
Courage is the audacity of hope , to move ahead despite opposition/confusion . Exodus 14 :13 & 14.
(1 Kings 17: 3 ) If you stay in a place where God has left , you will lose Divine supply .
Life can be tough without a helper , but God is saying we shouldn't be afraid. 2 chronicles 20:20 .
If Christ dwells in you , he em-bolden you in the place of confusion/ situations and circumstances that want to pull you down .
(Corinthians 10: 3-6) One of the reasons why the devil leverage on us is because of of our disobedience (John 14:23) God dwells with people who give total obedience
2 Timothy 1:7 Don't yield to fear and negative confessions.
Hence , we should check our lives/homes and do away with any token from the devil that doesn't glorify God in our lives so the devil will stop resisting us when we pray .
There are two(2) types of fear
1. Fear that leads to paralysis , stops you from moving ahead (e.g.)
Fear of Failure and what ifs ; (what if I fail , What if my marriage scatters ) Hebrews 11:6 . Romans 14:22 .
Whatever we do outside Faith is a sin and will definitely lead to fear .
2. Fear that leads us to working out our salvation with fear and trembling Hebrews 11:7 .
we should learn from Noah and make sure that our families receives salvation Ezekiel 14 : 19 &20
Areas where People usually operate in fear
1. People fear failure ; the fear of failure brings reluctance .Get up and start again even if you fail. Hebrew 13:5&6
2. 2. The fear of the future/unknown . Jer 29 :11
receive God's plan for you. Vision and expectations make life go on.
3.People fear responsibility / feeling inadequate .
4. People fear what others will say about them / People's opinions shouldn't bother you if you are in line of God's will .
What happens when courage leads you to trust God?
1. You get a reassurance that God will only assign you what He has completed (Psalm 127:1) (Isaiah 46:10)
2.God steps in when fear may want to strike . God is moved when he sees how much courage we have . (Gen 22 God requesting Abraham to sacrifice Issac) .
3. God will stand by you at all times (Exodus 5, 6, 7 and 8) (God sent Moses to Pharaoh and stood by him)
*Sicknesses that ravaged your body before today is over in Jesus name
*Affliction from the enemy comes to an end .
*Everything stopping you from advancing in life , leaves you right now !
*starting from now , your life will not resist God's word
*From Today , God will speak to your ears .
