TOPIC : The need to build an altar of praise

BIBLE TEXT : 2 Chronicles 5:13-14

*Praising* God draws God closer to the one who is praising him.

*An alter* is a meeting place between *humanity* and *divinity* Alter can be physical and spiritual . (Gen 9 Noah built an Altar after the flood)

Praise plays a critical role on the altar .

An altar is a place of solution , blessing , promotion and confirmation of destiny (Gen15) .

God reveals your destiny/purpose in the place of the  Altar.

Alter is place of connection between the *heart of man* and the *plan of God .*

Destinies can be *molded or *destroyed* on the altar . .

Its possible to pray amiss but it not possible to praise amiss (this is because during *praise* , God is everything we call him and more )

( *Psalm 22:2-3* )  Praise moves God to move on your behalf

*( Joseph was  Joyous , full of Joy even in his affliction ).*

Psalm 84:7 , Psalm 100.

James 1:6-8 (inconsistency in Praise is like having a double minded)  Consistency in praise will only be born out of the knowledge of God .

Focus your gaze on God and not the challenges you face . (Jeremiah 29:11) (Isaiah 46:10) . (Exodus 14 :13-14)

*Declaration* : Every  altar in your life holding you in captivity and making a mess out of your life is Destroyed .

The altar of the Lord shall speak purpose into your life .

BIBLE TEXT : 1st Thessalonians 5 : 23-24

In a time like this we need to be thankful .

Sanctification is necessary for praising God (John 17:17) , sanctification aids a believer in receiving from God to set him in line for God's blessings.

God reveals his will to us through his word .

Ways to God shows his faithfulness

1. (Ps 3:2) The world may mock you , but God will show up (Deut 7:9)

Faithfulness is not a title of God , it's a personality of God . (Ps 89:1)

*The story of the widow and the Judge (Luke 18:5)

2. If God gives you a dream , He will fulfill it . (1 kings 8-56) Not one one of His word fails

Vision is important to manifestation

Vision is important to possession ; because you can't become you cannot see.

We need to ask ourselves (What do I see?) and ask God to touch the eyes of our spirit . (Jer 29:11).
