The Rules Lawyers Podcast

We got the band back together (for the most part) to do a completely remotely controlled recording where we discuss our hot takes on Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.

Please excuse the weird leveling of voice volumes, as this was my first time trying to edit multiple tracks of voices from different sources. But ya know what, in spite of this issue, I'm proud of this one. And that's all that matters at the end of the day, right?

On this week, Rules Lawyers After Dark presents DOUBLE DUBUQUE BOYS!!! You heard that right! Each boy that represents a TTRPG podcast in this interview both call Dubuque their home.

I am joined by Ben of the Lawful Great Adventures podcast, an actual play podcast playing Pathfinder as well as the Quest system. They truly are high quality, so please go check them out and follow them on all the socials.

Lets just do this one for fun, shall we? I have Peter of the Game and Read Podcast on with me where we do some fun thought experiment and generally shoot the shoot for a while.

For real though, you should listen to the Game and Read podcast. Go to Soundcloud and search for them, then press play. Maybe listen to the episode on world building or their series on Link's Awakening/Sandman: A Game of You. I remember them having a super fun and handsome guest on those episodes. You can tell he is handsome by the sound of his voice!

Confusing title I know, but it will totally make sense once you listen to it.

I am joined by my friend Grace to talk about D&D, the Dark Tower, Dresden Files, and our general disappointment in various fandoms!

Bust out the spurs and your favorite pair of chaps, we are talking about Lonesome Dove. My brother Tony and I spend a long time talking about one of our favorite mutual works of fiction.

As the phoenix doth rise from the ashes, so do I within the confines of my own podcase.

Finally, the last part of our Facebook Live playthrough of A Day at the Races. More episodes to come (hopefully) soon!

Part 2/3 of our Facebook Live playthrough of A Day at the Races! This was seriously so much fun to run, and listening to all of these parts makes me so happy.

The gang begins the epic Dino-race, doing all sorts of sick stunts and having deep religious epiphanies along the way, eventually dealing with the fallout of the race's conclusion.

Part one of our Facebook Live streaming session!

Featuring:

-Oliver Schmidtz as Symphoneus

-Logan Nielsen as Olie McTwist

-Karl Kramer as Toofer Bronson

-Me as the DM

Eventually, more to come, probably!

Baby, can you dig your man? And by your man, I mean me talking about Sai King? M-O-O-N, that spells podcast!

I am joined by my ka-mate Patty (aka @pattyisbooked on the Instagram that all the kids use) as we make our Stand discussing all things King.

Don't forget the face of your father! Stand and be true! Beep-beep listener! You don't tell me, I'll tell you!!!
