In this week’s episode, we welcome back John Quartermain, just days away from running his first marathon in Barcelona alongside Andy. John first joined us in Episode 15 at the start of his marathon journey - go back and listen if you missed it!

Now, 16 weeks later, he reflects on his progress, sharing the highs, the challenges, and how he overcame past injury concerns. He also opens up about the impact of training within a group of 20 runners all working toward the same goal and why it’s been a game-changer.

This week, it’s just Andy and Rich catching up and reflecting on their training for their spring marathons - Barcelona for Andy, which is now just four weeks away, and Paris for Rich, who is heading into the second half (the working end!) of his training plan.

The guys also share their excitement about their next training group, kicking off in April: the Group Ultra Program. This program will guide runners towards the Ultra X England event in the Peak District this September.
