The Ryan & Podgecast

He's back, and no amount of jaw surgery will stop him talking his usual crap!!

Delighted to have Podge back this week where we have a long catch up on what we missed the last two weeks. Podge brings us through the process of his operation and retells his wonderful medican tale as well as healthy discussion on why we all hate rich people.

This week, we are joined again by friend of the pod, Shane Daniel Byrne! Podge is still in recovery mode so Shane was sound enough to come in and guest-host. We talked about the time I prayed to be on the Disney Channel, Shane's experience working in bars, and we also conducted a little history lesson for all of you history buffs. Ryan and Shane are taking part in the Dickie Dip this Saturday 5th November in aid of men's cancer care in the Mater Hospital and you can donate here! It's always a pleasure to have Shane on and this episode was a lot of fun. Podge is on the mend and will return for next week's episode. Our brave little soldier. This episode is available now wherever you get your podcasts. And, of course, this episode is proudly sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey.

On this week's episode, we have our wonderful GUEST-HOST Killian Sundermann in to cover in Podge's absence!

Last week, Podge underwent serious surgery on his jaw so his speaking abilities are a bit lacking at the moment... So who better to fill his shoes this week than cherished friend of the pod, Killian Sundermann. We chat about our experiences with stand-up comedy, we give our thoughts on the Banshees of Inisheerin and talk about funny Halloween costumes...  We also checked in with Podge to see how the recovery is going. It was a pleasure to have Killian back and we had a gorgeous chat. We wish Podge a super speedy recovery! This episode is proudly sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey.

The Ryan and Podgecast's first ever live podcast lifted the roof off the Bernard Shaw last Thursday. Along with our two very special guests, Justine Stafford and Simon Hennessy, we brought a bit of spookiness to the brand new Racket Space.

We played Spooky or Not Spooky with our guests and audience, we told spooky stories and talked about how we celebrated Halloween as youngsters.

We had a blast on the night and hope you enjoy this recording of the live podcast.

Huge thanks to our guests, everyone at the Bernard Shaw and, most importantly, the group of legends who came out to see us.

Host of The Red Room, Jenny Claffy joins us today. We talk about the huge success of her new podcast, winning at the Irish Podcast awards and much more.

Jenny also brings us her top two conspiracy theories, which open up a can on suspicious worms. It's not one to miss!

This week's episode consists of the two lads having a lovely chat in the run-up to the live show next week! These are always slightly disheveled episodes but that's the charm (we hope - someone give us validation please). This week we made some big announcements about the live show, we checked in with each other on how we've been doing the last few weeks and we read out some of the comments on the podcast's first viral TikTok... So sit back, relax and enjoy two young fellas waffling and having a lot of fun doing it... There are still a few tickets left for the live show next week, grab them at the link in our bio!

On this week's podcast, we are joined by comedian, former fridget and face of Deep RiverRock, Tony Cantwell.

We talk about showers, schools, passports, run-ins with the law and much much more! Filled with good fun and silly jokes, this was one of our favourites to date!

On this week's episode, we had actor, writer and comedian Emma Doran on the podcast. Emma is best known for her brilliant online sketches, hilarious standup comedy and from being on the telly! You can catch her on the sketch show No Worries If Not on Thursday at 10.35pm on RTÉ TWO. We chatted about watching reruns of Catfish, some potential sketches for season two of NWIN and how Emma 'died on her hole' when doing standup . Stick around 'til the end of the episode, when Ryan makes a holy show of himself... This episode is proudly sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey.

Actor, Writer, Comedian & Musician Micheal Fry joins us this week. We discuss his busy schedule and all he has achieved in such a short amount of time! From TV shows, albums, master degrees and gray hairs. We cover it all! He also gives us a rendition of one of the most memorable interview moments from a former One Direction member at this years oscars.

On this week's episode, it's the two boyos recapping their experience at Electric Picnic! From flooded tents to grim toilet facilities (and a lot of fun in between), we give our thoughts on EP 2022. And as Electric Picnic unofficially marks the end of the summer, we look back at our highs and lows of summer 2022. Be sure to follow the podcast on Instagram and TikTok for exclusive news and clips!
