The Ryze Radio

Welcome back to Season 2 of The Ryze Radio and the premiere episode of Sherwood Tapes! We're thrilled to be back, bringing you more music and stories to brighten your day.

This season, we've got some exciting guests and projects lined up, so make sure to stay tuned! In this first episode, we're focusing on the power of accessories and valuing the small things in life. Accessoryze reminds us that it's the little details that take us to the next level, and I've created a lofi/jazz house playlist that embodies this philosophy. The last 15 minutes are filled with modern jazz tracks to close out the mix.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for tuning in, and I can't wait for you to experience everything that Season 2 of The Ryze Radio has in store!

What's up y'all, This is the last episode of The  Ryze Radio: The Process! This episode is a little different than the previous episodes as it is a monologue, not a conversation. Well, I guess it is a conversation with myself.

I wanted this last episode to be one that recapped this szn but more importantly explained who "The Ryze" is and what I am about. I don't typically go into this much detail about my personal philosophy and psychology, but in the efforts of connecting with y'all, I thought this is something I want you to hear. It is very personal but very honest.

My latest EP "Sunryze" is out 12/02.

The first single off that EP is out now!

This is the last episode of Season 1 of The Ryze Radio mix series Sherwood Tapes. This episode features music I would categorize as a "smooth operator". That slightly downtempo, house music with that plushy kick and melodic elements that gets you steppin from side to side. I kinda veered off that sound later on during the mix, but you get the point.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and listened to the episodes this season. After this episode, there is one more "The Process" episode where I reflect on the season and where I stand as a creative.

In this second last episode in this season of The Process, we finish how we started. I was fortunate enough to be a guest on the radio show Creative Juices which is hosted by my good friend Sydney Carlson, who interviewed me on the very first episode of The Process. In this episode, we delve into my career as a dj/producer and my influences along the way.

I had a lot of fun recording this mix! The objective of this episode was to combine the vibes of two playlists I curate.

The first playlist Contrast,  has more bassey, tech house, show me your stank face energy while Ecstasy & Elation has more of a indie dance, crying in the club type energy.  I am really proud of both playlists and the vibe I was able to curate and I hope you enjoy hearing them in this mix!

This might be one of my favorite episodes of the season!

As you will find out, I meet Aidan in somewhat of a rather serendipitous way.

Only a few days after meeting him, we filmed this episode, and listening back to the recording I'm delighted to see how much we were able to connect and dive into meaningful conversation. Aidan was someone who showed a very strong sense of self and I'm glad I was able to have this conversation with him.

In this episode, we talk about Aidan's journey as a filmmaker and the decisions he had to make to get where he is today. He has such a fascinating story and I hope you enjoy this episode of The Ryze Radio as much as I did facilitating it!

In this episode of The Process, I have my two good friends, creative sparring partners and well-rounded individuals Jack "dez" Deignan and Preju Kanuparthy.

We talk about our journeys, treating creativity as a holistic experience and questioning the idea of following your passions and the consequences it has on your lifestyle.

Both of them in their own right have excelled in their creative endeavors. Preju, a prolific photographer, videographer, creative director and entrepreneur. Dez, a creative spirit and writer honing his craft in different genres all while discovering deeper truths about himself.

This is only half the conversation we recorded, check out the other half on Dez's podcast Corner Pocket!

I Hope you enjoy!

P.S. I filmed this episode 3 months ago and it's crazy listening back and seeing how our projections did against reality

Here is Sherwood Tapes #3. I recorded this mix a couple of weeks ago in Joshua Tree during a retreat. This mix shall take you on a journey, just like the one I felt I had when I was in J-tree. It starts off very minimal deep tech and progresses to classic house tracks, nu-disco, and bass house. Another interview is on its way but until then...

Enjoy!

Hey y'all, this is episode 2 of The Process.  I find it very insightful to hear about other people's creative processes and what makes them tick; their inspiration, background, and how they got to where they currently are. I think everyone is creative and I believe all it takes is finding a process to channel that energy. This 2nd episode features my good friend Laila Adarkar and in this episode, we talk about her journey in the food industry, her motivations, and some of the current projects she is working on. I hope you enjoy it!
