The Sacred Man

Today I want to talk about 3 things that a music leader needs to know right out of the gate. First, you need to know who it is you are singing to. Leading the music is not just to get people more comfortabe before the sermon. It's about singing to God. Second, you need to have your heart right. God knows your heart and wants you to be genuine and humble. And, third, you need to know what worship is. Worship is the giving God the praise honor and thanks He deserves. This is the very first podcast of the channel and I am very excited to have Mrs. Terri Siebert with me today. She served as the head of the music department at Southeastern Free Will Babtist College, currenlty in Wendell, North Carolina, since it started back in 1983. She has recently retired, but she has a made a great legacy of following God in music. I hope you will be able to pull some wisdom from this conversation as I did.
