The Salty Thoughts of Mike Steph Podcast

On the latest edition of the world renowned, hardly ever listened to or viewed podcast, Mike Steph discusses the following:

The holiday season is over but Mike Steph is not finished spewing his grievances. Festivus or more aptly named "Steph-ivus" is on tap.

The NY Jets miserable season has finally come to an end. Fittingly they won a meaningless game and Aaron Rodgers had is best game of the season in what may be the last not only for the Jets but his illustrious career.

More importantly The NY Jets might've been played for a fool by Former HC Mike Vrabel to get what he coveted the most............the Head Coaching position of the New England Patriots. Mike Steph has some extreme angst to get off his chest.

NYC Congestion Pricing has commenced on January 5th. It gotten off to a very unpopular start. MTA Brass has not done itself any favors with the rhetoric that has been espoused over the last couple days. Mike Steph rants on the numerous entities that have much to gain with this policy going into effect.

And lastly, a return of the "Kiss of Steph" segment chronicling Mike Steph's lost Weekend betting Week 18 of the NFL Regular season.

Enjoy!

On this week's episode of the world renowned, hardly ever listened to or viewed podcast, Mike Steph discusses the following:

The NY Jets lost yet another embarrassing loss, this time to the Buffalo Bills 40-14. Will this continued losing, helmed by aging QB Aaron Rodgers, cause budding star receiver Garrett Wilson to ask for a trade in the offseason? Will Woody Johnson get advice from his sons on the hiring of the next head coach and general manager? Will Rex Ryan be the best choice to lead this wayward franchise?

Gov. Hochul reinstated NYC Congestion Pricing plan to take effect on January 5th 2025. Now there's a provision in the agreement that allows the MTA to raise the price by 25 percent on gridlock alert days. Hochul says that she won't allow the increase to take place despite having no power to do so. Another case in inept NY politics!

And finally, Mike Steph gives his thoughts on this past weekends AEW's PPV offering "World's End". Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander had a great match for the TBS title. Where does Mercedes go now? Who is the next challenger? Also, what is wrong with the Jon Moxley Death Riders' angle?

Enjoy!!!!

On this edition of the world renowned, hardly ever listened or viewed podcast, Mike Steph discusses the following:

Luigi Mangione was apprehended last week for the assassination of United Health Care CEO Brian Johnson. Why are people hailing him as a hero? Is this the way of the future, to take perceived injustices into their own hands?

Daniel Penny was acquitted last week on manslaughter charges for the killing of Jordan Neely. Is he in the right to defend his actions after the trial? is there a difference of how these two should be looked at for their actions?

Are we as an society trending toward being totally non-empathetic? Are we championing vigilantes? Is this the way of the future??
