  • Ep.63: "OMG" (Ny Mets Surging, Lindor MVP? | Fun Times W/ Kai | SOA of BK | Thoughts on The Office)
On this edition of the world renowned, hardly ever listened to, or viewed podcast, Mike Steph discusses the following:
The NY Mets have been red hot since the beginning of June, crafting a 31-17 record and coming back from being 11 games below .500 to currently holding a wild card spot in the National League. Is this pace sustainable? Should they be buyers come the trade deadline? Or will they come back down to earth?
An impromptu moment occurred when Mike Steph And his daughters discussed and reminisced about his son Nikai. Funny stories about the shenanigans of their youth and quirks made for a very special segment.
Also discussed is Mike Steph's thoughts on "The Office" and whom he feels are sympathetic figures in the comedy. And lastly a "sons of anarchy" Brooklyn edition so to speak!
    All this and more. Enjoy!!!

  • Ep.62: "?"Pt.3 (President Biden Drops Re-election Bid, Kamala Harris Is In| Trump Chooses JD Vance)
On this edition of the world renowned, hardly ever viewed or listened to pod, Mike Steph discusses the following:
After weeks of talks in the background of the need for President Biden to end his re-election bid after his poor debate showing, a move was made this past Sunday. Biden officially stepped down and in his words for the betterment of the country. VP Kamala Harris is continuing the race, only as the presidential nominee of the democratic party. This has historical ramifications and the party might has exposed the fact that the "1%" is actually in control of the political system here in the U.S. The machinations behind the curtains involving Schumer, Jefferies, Obama, and Pelosi have been fascinating to see.
On the other side of the ledger, Donald Trump has chosen his running mate at the RNC national convention last week and his name is JD Vance. What's does this mean going forward?
Also appearances by Hulk Hogan and Amber Rose at the convention was sad but expected.
    All that and more!!! Enjoy!!!!

  • Ep.61: "Bang" (Shots fired at Trump rally| Democrats call for President Biden to step down| Brunson)
On this edition of the world renowned, hardly ever viewed or listened to podcast, Mike Steph discusses the following:
Shots were fired at this past weekends Trump campaign rally. Suspected gunman was killed along with another individual. Due to somewhat questionable actions preceding and following the shooting, people are skeptical of the validity of the shooting. Trump himself was injured with a grazing to his ear before being led away by the secret service. All the while being able to have a perfect photo opportunity.
This past week, the voices have gotten louder in the democratic party for President Biden to step down from his re-election bid. Such stalwarts of the party, Nancy Pelosi, the Obamas, the Clintons, and even George Clooney have been maneuvering behind the scenes to have him replaced. Will this actually happen?
And finally, the New York Knicks re-signed Jalen Brunson to a 4 year/156mil extension. The fact that he signed this contract a year early and his main intent was to give the Knicks financial flexibility has been frowned upon by various media outlets and pundits. Mike Steph gives his 2 cents on this monumental moment in Knicks history. Also by Jalen Brunson doing this, should he be hailed as the KING OF NY?
    All that and more! Enjoy!!!!!!!!

  • Ep.60: "I'm Back" (President Biden Fit For Re-Election? | Mikal Bridges/Knicks | Klay Thompson/Mavs)

On this week's edition of the world renowned, hardly ever listened to and viewed podcast, Mike Steph returns from his break to discuss the following:

President Biden has been in the news lately due to his struggles in the latest presidential debate against Donald Trump. There has been calls for Biden to step aside in his re-election bid due to his age, his mental capacity being questioned, etc.... Mike Steph asks if not Biden, who? Kamala Harris? Should the democrats be in this position?

The Knicks were able to acquire Mikal Bridges in a trade from the Brooklyn Nets to add him to the rest of the "Nova Knicks". Will this put them over the hump? Did they give up too much?

Klay Thompson made it official by signing with the Dallas Mavs during free agency. The Golden State Warriors dynasty is over and their big 3 is done. Mike Steph has his thoughts on the fallout.

Lastly, Mike Steph has rants about the change in authentic food, airport car rentals and hidden cost, and getting less product for more money.

    All that and more! Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

  • Ep.59: "Work It Out" (Aaron Rodgers NY Jets Mini Camp Drama | NY Mets & Grimace Effect | NY Yanks)
On this weeks edition of the world renowned, hardly ever listened to or viewed podcast, Mike Steph discusses the following:
The NY Mets have been on a tear lately. Winners of 12 of their last 18 and 8 of the last 10, they've gotten back into playoff contention. Is it a coincidence that they've been on a hot streak since The Grimace threw out the first pitch a cpl weeks ago? Mike Steph has his thoughts on the real reason.
The drama around Aaron Rodgers missing the NY Jets Mini camp has been overblown in my opinion. Maybe its because of the downtime in the sports landscape. Maybe its due to the fact of the need for content to the media pundits. Mike Steph will discuss this topic from a Jets fan POV.
Mike Steph had an interesting father's day week. Such a myriad of topics came to mind. The importance of teaching children their cultural backgrounds. The persistence of the IRS. The dilemmas of being a registered independent voter. The newest fad in camel toes. Coming closer to understanding ones spirituality. And the evolution of Fathers' Day Gifts.

  • Ep.58: "Family Ties" (Gov. Hochil pauses NYC Congestion Pricing | Stephen A. Smith rips Will Smith)
On this weeks edition of the world renowned, hardly ever listened to or viewed podcast, Mike Steph discusses the following:
Governor Hochil changed stances on the long controversial and unpopular NYC Congestion Pricing plan. Why did this happen? Did this need to happen? What is the political fallout going to be for both parties this fall? Mike Steph will give his unique perspective on this important issue in the city.
Stephen A. Smith gave his unsolicited opinions again this week after getting roasted for his asinine takes on his very own show by Monica McNutt on the WNBA. His self appointed position of spokesmen of the black community came under fire after reasoning that Will Smith owed the black community an apology due to his actions of 2 yrs ago in his altercation with Chris Rock. Was this clout chasing at its zenith? Or a masterclass on grifting and leeching off of Will Smith's successful opening weekend?
And finally the price of ice cream is TOO DAMN HIGH!!!!!!

  • Ep.57: "Don't Look Any Further" (Caitlin Clark Flop | WNBA fines Reese | Mets retire Strawberry #18)
On this week's edition of the world renowned, hardly ever listened to or viewed podcast, Mike Steph gives his "salty thoughts" on the following:
Once again, Caitlin Clark was in the headlines due to an incident involving her and some vets of the WNBA. With the season still in the infancy phase, is this threatening to overshadow the potential to showcase the players in a positive light? Are they potentially blowing the opportunity of advancing past a niche sport?
The WNBA fined Angel Reese $1,000 for not speaking to the media after the game between the #chicagosky and the #indianafever . Was this fare? Should she have spoken, especially due to her position as a marquee rookie in the league?
The NY Mets Retired Darryl Strawberry's #18 jersey this past Saturday at Citi Field in Queens! A long overdue achievement and much deserved kudos to a Mets Legend.
On the current front, the NY Mets continue to have embarrassing lowlights this season. The latest one involved now former Met Jorge Lopez throwing his glove into the stands after getting ejected and then having a tough post game press conference in which he came off defiant in his actions! Oh and the team has failed to improve at all since.
Finally, Colin Cowherd made comments on the state of the country from his point of view after the guilty verdict of Donald Trump this past week. Mike Steph has alot to say concerning what he feels were very insular thoughts.
    All that and more! Enjoy!!!

  • Sprinkle of Salt: "Why has wrestling been so boring lately?"
On this impromptu Sprinkle of Salt edition of the world renowned hardly ever listened to podcast, Mike Steph gives his Salty Thoughts on how wrestling has become so mundane in the last couple months. Why is this? Has his sensibilities changed? Is it because of the lack of star power being presented? Or is it just the annual lull of the spring/summer season? Well, hopefully those questions can be answered. Enjoy!

  • Ep.56: "Cruel Summer" (Thoughts on Caitlin Clark and WNBA | NY Mets walk-off win vs SF Giants)

On this edition of the world renowned, hardly ever listened to and viewed podcast, Mike Steph will discuss the following:

Caitlin Clark is becoming a very polorizing figure not only in the WNBA but all of sports. Should the WNBA use the mainstream exposure to its advantage to take the league to new heights? Or should the "gatekeepers" continue to protect the "integrity" of the league in spite of having a face diiferent than what is preferred? Mike Steph lets us know his views and how it pararells the very origin of the league over 25 years ago during the heyday of Rebecca Lobo and Sheryl Swoopes, Cynthia Cooper and others.

The NY Mets beat the SF Giants in the last game of a three game set at home with a walk-off win. Mike Steph was in attendance and gives his views.

A long lost segment is brought back.......Potpourri of Bullshit!  NYC's legalization of cannibus, NYC schools partnership with the Jewish children museum, and Rapsody's single DND are the topics at hand!
