One of the biggest problems of being human is realizing how insignificant we are. In this episode, Mark and Kalu sit down and try to make sense of why we as a society feel that our lives are so important when there is so many larger, more important things happening in the universe around us.  We talk about the use of systems and platforms to correct the problems caused by our addiction to social media platforms, we talk about surrogation bias, and we talk about what it means to take the knowledge of your insignificance to do significant things and make the largest and most positive waves upon other people and your surroundings.

The holiday season is filled with multiple visits to and from family members both close and distant.  As many of us grow, our idea of what family is begins to shift and we often find ourselves feeling forced to do things with or for people just because they might share the last name we do.  In this episode, JP Mann (Hefty Lefty Clubworks) and Kalu sit down and talk about setting boundaries for yourself this holiday season, visiting only the people you want to visit, and not stressing yourself out mentally or financially because of what the calendar says.
