Before most anyone was sharing their personal mental health battles publicly, Imani McGee-Stafford was playing high-level D1 basketball for Texas and she just let it all out to the media. Looking back, it was never anything planned; in fact she remembers answering questions and opening up like It was just any other topic. However, it wasn’t just any other topic. Before she knew it, she was watching her life story being told on ESPN, making Imani a household name.
