You may be asking yourself as you check your podcast feed today, "I thought The Sandcrawler was a bi-weekly show?"  Well, you are correct actually but we had some BIG BIG NEWS last week at New York Toy Fair and we just couldn't wait to geek out about all the new Star Wars action figure announcements.

It looks like the 40th Anniversary celebration is going to be a hit based on Hasbro's announcements!

The Sandcrawler #16:  Jake Stevens, The Kenner Hole & Patriots Rule!

What happens when you decide to record during a week that started with the biggest Super Bowl win in history?  You get an episode of The Sandcrawler that is just as epic as the New England Patriots' historical victory in Super Bowl 51!

Co-host Dengar Dan is still buzzing from the victory and apart from  ALOT of Patriots's flag waving we manage to squeeze in some Star Wars action figure talk along the way.

We are very excited to welcome Jake Stevens of From4LOMtoZuckuss.com and Toy Run to the show this week. Jake is a long-time action figure collector and a big part of the Star Wars collecting community it was a great conversation covering the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, Hasbro distribution and the ongoing debate over super-articulated Star Wars figures.  Oh yeah, there's some super hero movie discussion just for good measure too.
