We had some BIG BIG NEWS last week at New York Toy Fair and we just couldn’t wait to geek out about all the new Star Wars action figure announcements.

Joe Tavano from Brews and Blasters joins us as we go through some of the announcements from Toy Fair.

It looks like the 40th Anniversary celebration is going to be a hit based on Hasbro’s announcements!

What happens when you decide to record during a week that started with the biggest Super Bowl win in history? You get an episode of The Sandcrawler that is just as epic as the New England Patriots’ historical victory in Super Bowl 51!

Co-host Dengar Dan is still buzzing from the victory and apart from ALOT of Patriots’s flag waving we manage to squeeze in some Star Wars action figure talk along the way.

This week we begin our Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 Survival Guide where we bring in Michael Nipp of The Deucecast to talk about getting around the Orlando area during the festivities in April. We are very excited to welcome Jake Stevens of From4LOMtoZuckuss.com and Toy Run to the show this week. Jake is a long-time action figure collector and a big part of the Star Wars collecting community it was a great conversation covering the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, Hasbro distribution and the ongoing debate over super-articulated Star Wars figures. Oh yeah, there’s some super hero movie discussion just for good measure too.

When we first talked about doing a Star Wars collecting podcast we both wanted to have Chris on our show. Not only is a good friend and all around cool guy, but he has one of the most amazing Star Wars collections you’ve ever seen! After what seems like a WAY too long Christmas break, Dan and Mike are back and still geeking out over Rogue One. We ring in the New Year with the biggest "I Wanted Everything" segment yet as Santa was very good to the guys this year!

Big thanks to those of you who responded to Dan's call on Twitter for your favourite Power of the Force action figure from the 1990's, there were a ton of great picks and we had a blast talking about them this week.

The Star Wars community mourned the loss of Carrie Fisher and her mother, the legendary Debbie Reynolds and we extend our condolences to their family and friends.

Dan saw Rogue One on Thursday December 15 and Mike saw it Friday December 16 and this week's episode is the very first time they've spoken to each other about it. What did we love? What did we not love so much? What blew our minds? Where are the toys? It's our Rogue One reaction show--you don't want to miss this one!

Oh and Dan throws the gauntlet down to protect the honour (correct spelling) of his toque-wearing co-host!  Can collectors get toys priced for clearance? Is there a better option than lame pack-in accessories?  We're hopped up on eggnog and Ecto Cooler on this week’s Sandcrawler!
