John in CT joins Dave once again for part 2 of our 2024 College Football Preview.  This time out we'll cover coaches on the hot seat, then preview the Group of Five conferences: Mountain West, Sun Belt, MAC, AAC, and Conference USA. There could be some battles between Appalachian State and Texas State for Sun Belt, while Fresno State, UNLV, and others fight it out for the Mountain West title. In Conference USA, Liberty is not just a favorite to win, but potentially a favorite to make the playoff out of the Go5. There's also some changing of the guard afoot in the MAC, known America's favorite Tuesday night pastime.

John in CT joins Dave to break down the Power Teams in FBS Football, plus our season storylines for 2024.   Bama enters a new era after Nick Saban retires, Georgia tries to bounce back after their unexpected early exit with a really exciting new quarterback, the Pac 12 folds and gets poached by the Big Ten, Big 12, and ACC, and Texas and Oklahoma start their first season in the SEC.

John in CT is back to recap the Open Championship won by Xander Schauffele at Royal Troon Golf Club.   We'll also look at some of the other players from the tournament which had many twists and turns.

Chris and Dave are back to put a cap on the fairly short, very successful, NBA Finals for the Boston Celtics who extend their NBA record to 18 championships.    We'll cover how this likeable, very deep, very strong defensive team put away the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 and what they did to limit Luka and Kyrie's impact on the series for Dallas.

Chris and Dave recap Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Mavericks and Celtics from Boston. We also took comments from chat and recapped other items from the 2024 Finals after Boston's convincing 107-89 win in Game 1.

Chris and Dave return to recap a really disappointing, pretty short Conference Finals in the NBA, both East and West, where the Celtics and Mavericks both won their series very quickly.

Mike and Andy are back to recap one of the most thrilling majors in recent years at Valhalla. Xander Schauffele finally gets his first major after a spectacular first round and a tremendous final round including some huge shots late, getting out of trouble and landing the ball when he needed it most to win the 2024 PGA Championship. This was quite a battle, featuring great performances by Bryson DeChambeau, Viktor Hovland, and many others. The crew will look at the event in total, the bizarre and tragic morning leading into Round 2 that put Scottie Scheffler in jail for a few hours, the low scoring in Round 3 coupled with the excitement of a tight leaderboard in Round 4, media coverage, and much more.
