The season has come to an end. Shanni and Zach recapped the finale of Total Madness, and shared their thoughts on a number of topics including: Johnny’s legacy after his 7th win, Jenny’s dominant victory, the difficulty level of this final, and the amount of times Cory mentioned that he was competing for his daughter. We had some questions about the structure of the final, and whether or not the elimination was necessary. We also paid respect to all of the throwback jams that were packed into this episode. Near the end, we discussed our plans for the offseason. If those kinds of things interest you, fee free to take a listen.

Recap starts @ the 1 hour mark.
Shanni and Zach spent the first half of this episode talking with our friends from the Tea Time Podcast. We got their views on the current social climate surrounding The Challenge and what they are hoping to see the show do moving forward. From there, we went into our review of Total Madness ep 15. This episode unexpectedly turned out to be the emotional highlight of the season. Zach was forced to say goodbye to his main man Nelson after an epic Hall Brawl elimination. Zach also claims that they are no longer accepting membership applications for the Nelson Bandwagon...but does anyone really care about this? Tune in to find out!

With season 35 winding down, Zach and Shanni sat down to review an episode that featured one of our favorite elimination games: Knot So Fast...or something like it. We had some mixed reviews of the daily challenge, but also predictably had a lot to say about the awesome musical sequence. Finally, we had some thoughts on TJ’s parting words to Josh. What were they? Listen to find out...

Tori Deal stopped by to talk to us and in the process made all of Shanni’s dreams come true. This conversation covered a lot of different topics. We spoke about her relationship with Camila, the recent conversations between Jordan and Nia, Tori’s appearances on AYTO/The Challenge, her love of poetry, SuiHeart Club, her upcoming children's books and most hilarious of all...Tori directly confronts Zach about some of the comments he made about her on previous episodes. We also confessed our love for AYTO Second Chances and Champs Vs Pros. Not to be missed.

After an eventful week in our Twitter mentions and the Challenge community as a whole, Shanni and Zach brought on longtime listener Jessica to have an in depth chat about the current climate of The Challenge and it’s fandom. We got her take on our recent Twitter beefs, her beliefs on how MTV should handle cast members who make racially insensitive remarks, and the inconsistencies in the edits that certain cast members receive. After that, Shanni and Zach break down episode 13 of Total Madness. We pulled out our tinfoil hats for some conspiracy theories about the daily, we gave the blow by blow on the Bayleigh-Kaycee blowup, and we reviewed the physical elim between Melissa/Vienna and Nany. Also, Zach hilariously lost power at some point and looked like he was broadcasting from a campfire. This was a great time!

Shanni and Zach review the live chat between Nia and Jordan, the twitter outrage, and the divide between the fanbase. This live resulted in some major backlash from the twitter stan community, so we will leave it up to the listeners to determine how they feel about what we had to say. As always, we encourage open, RESPECTFUL conversation in our lives between all parties with differing background and philosophies. Agree or disagree, all are welcome to make your voices heard in our live threads, on our pages, or in our DM’s.
From there we broke down Episode 12 of Total Madness, and all of our thoughts behind the way Dee is being edited out of the show, the lack of drama on this season, and the elimination battle between Cory and Swaggy.

Shanni and Zach sat down during a very chaotic time in Challenge fandom to discuss a number of sensitive and timely issues. This was an open and honest discussion conducted with a large group of viewers who represented many different races, genders, and ideologies. The intention was to create a setting where everyone could speak openly about recent actions and events, while being met with a sense of support and understanding as we all try to navigate uncertain waters. We covered a lot of topics throughout this therapeutic episode including: Dee’s comments and subsequent firing, the welcome (or unwelcome) involvement of other cast members, the prominence of cancel culture among Challenge fandom, and our thoughts on MTV’s role in all of this. Once we finished that conversation, we got into our review for episode 11 of Total Madness. Shanni had the full scoop on all the deleted scenes. Zach gloated about a certain cast member who he has been claiming to be a flop since their debut season. We shared some love for Josh’s facemask and The Cardigans along the way.

Shanni and Zach got together and attempted to have a coherent discussion about episode 10 of Total Madness. Johnny and Wes squaring off in an elimination was supposed to be a monumental event after all...
Here’s a little behind the scenes scoop: We told ourselves before recording that we were going to keep this episode close to an hour. Then we got sidetracked for 45 minutes fighting about future formats that The Challenge needs to use. Shanni very possibly trashed all Challenge vets over the age of 36. Zach practically cried that she wasn’t showing Coral any respect. Also at some point there was a lot of confusion over Kendal’s age because she still looks 25. This episode was like a fever dream TBH. Enjoy.
