Building on the tradition of it's namesake, Santiago de Compostela in Spain, and El Camino (The Way) Europe's oldest and most important pilgrimage route, Santiago hosted it's 4th Annual Camino - Lake Forest Route. Read more about it here. Pilgrims were invited to hear, understand, and answer the call of Jesus, along The Way. This Gospel and homily are from the Pilgrim's Mass, at the conclusion of the half-day pilgrimage.

In a far ranging and engaging discussion, Fr Paul begins with the basic definition of love, from the lowest, emotional form the Greek's called "eros" to "agape", Jesus' sacrificial love. He continues with a discussion of contractual agreements vs. a covenant. Throughout his discussion, he reminds us that at "the heart of everything" is the recognition of the dignity of every human person.
