Backyard Theology is a summer program at Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church dedicated to faith enrichment. It is designed to be "summer casual", beginning with parish provided BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers, and participants are requested to bring a side-dish or contribute a free will offering. BBQ is served from 6PM - 7PM, with the speaker beginning at 7:30 PM in the Parish Hall.

The Shroud is the most studied relic in history, and the Lauders encourage individual study of it as a great way to grow in faith. They are members of the American Confraternity of the Holy Shroud (ACHS) and recommend ACHS's Critical Summary of the Holy Shroud as a great start for those interested in learning more.

Free the Kids alleviates the devastating effects of poverty on vulnerable children in Southern Haiti by ensuring these children's essential needs are met (food, clothing, shelter, medical care) and preparing them to live independent, productive lives (education/vocational training). Their work includes:

• Caring for nearly 300 full-time children,
• Serving 20-30 patients each day in their clinic,
• Teaching over 1200 students a day, and
• Serving over 2000 meals a day.
