Chris Mckay is a SAR Tech from course 37, 1-800-RESCUE. Retired, Chris now co-owns TRS (Total Response Solutions) and trains people worldwide on Rescue operations. Despite some connectivity issues, we had an excellent chat about business and of course SAR. Rescue stories are told and the show wouldn't happen without some laughs.
ITS POSTING SEASON!
If you're going to or leaving Greenwood NS or Comox BC you should be chatting with Paul Jackman or Nate King respectively. They are fantastic real estate agents and will definitely sort you out military or not.

A different twist to our regular show today, rather than a standard interview format I decided to simply record a conversation with a few SAR Techs I hadn't seen in years. We had a great conversation and some excellent stories came from it. Here is our chat including multiple Rescue missions and stories. Enjoy, and thank you for being a part of The SAR Take. Don't forget to check us out on Patreon and email us with any questions or comments.

We interviewed a pilot a while back but this amazing story may have been lost in the middle of a long interview. Here is just the Mission story. While rescuing a guy with a broken femur the crew find themselves in bad weather and have a close call. It is incredible to hear it firsthand. Enjoy! RESCUE!!!!!

Alfred Barr Course 49 died on March 8th, 2017 during a training event in Saskatchewan. It is important to remember our fallen for who they are as a person. During this episode, we share some stories of AL and cite a favourite poem of his. If it sounds light and fun it's because it's how AL would want us to talk about him. We miss you every day, RIP Rescue Brother.

We interviewed a SAR Tech legend, Elmo, and what we realized was there was way too much information for one episode. In this episode, you will hear a great Rescue story and bio of an amazing man. Next week we will release the interview where we talk about a wide variety of SAR and military-related topics. We hope you enjoy, RESCUE!
