In this episode I talk about some of the reasons I've been slow putting out podcasts. I talk about how I almost shit my pants, struggling to reconnect with friends post covid, signing up for a hike that I'm unprepared for, tell the story of how I got lost once, and go over my recent canoe trips. That's pretty much it.

Dustin is back and he's swole. I had Dustin @DBux_Productions Buckles on the podcast again. At this time he's becoming dangerously close to being my official co-host, but I'm still calling him a guest. Anyways, he just moved, I helped, and so we got together and podcasted about it. We talked about how I dread moving him, after I helped him do the worst move all time back in the day. We talked about some of the reasons why he moved, E-bikes, roommate problems and some other things. I actually thought this Podcast was going to go a different way, so it was interesting to hear him tell me the story about his last roommates mental health scare. I had known part of the story before, but I learned that I was very judgemental compared to him...

So in this episode I ride solo. I may or may not have Covid, hence the solocast. I haven't made an episode lately, so I needed to put one out regardless of the circumstances. In this episode I talk about my story of maybe having Covid, and how that ruined my birthday. I also get into way more important topics, like Russia's recent invasion of the Ukraine. I deliver a hot take that "war is bad", and I talk about some of the geopolitics involved. Then to lighten the mood, I did a deep dive on how my vehicles broke down on me three times in a calendar year. This was my first time doing a solocast, if you like it let me know. I have Dustin @DBuxProductions back on the podcast again, and we had to talk about the trucker convoy. It's been a huge story here in Canada, so obviously we had to talk about it. We also talked about Dustin's grandpa turning 80, the Canadian mens soccer team almost maybe certainly qualifying for the world cup, the new Jackass movie coming out, Joe Rogan being canceled, and way more other things. This is not a political going to be a political podcast, but obviously this story was too big to ignore, and we definitely tried to weave in a lot of nonsense along the way.

This episode I have my old friend Neil come on the podcast. He just posted his new album Bad Fruit on Spotify, I highly recommend checking him out there under Brother Neil. Also show him some love on Instagram @BrotherNeil_Music, this episode was super wide ranging. We talk about music, vanlife, reminisce about our time working at McDonald's together, smoking pot in caves, and at the end I even tell the story about how I was originally banned from YouTube for my LEGAL canadian pot channel. On this episode I have my old friend Jesse Huizenga on the podcast. He's currently studying fisheries, and he's pretty educated and interested in all things fish. Here on the westcoast of BC fisheries are pretty important, so I got his opinion on the current state of things. He's an interesting guy and I thought this was an interesting podcast. It started out slow as we reminisced about how we met and became friends on our rugby tour way back in the day, but it got better as we switched up the topic and started talking about fish.

So we recorded this episode on Christmas eve, so obviously we talked about Christmas. I grew up as a big time Christmas guy, from a big time Christmas family. I had Dustin on again, @DBux_Productions, he was around during the Christmas light days so we reminisce about that. We also get a little deeper into some nonsense this episode. We talked about how I left a party in half a santa suit, and had a complete stranger(man) on the street offer to suck my dick one Halloween.
