  • Non-gendered High Heels and Pushing Burlesque Boundaries - Paty Kattkins

Series 2 of TLM YRSassy Story is getting spicy!
Bx Sassy is back with a NEW co-presenter Irving Olvera! We hear this kinky duo recap the week and discuss the TLM YRS Kickstarter Campaign. Joining them is a Sassy guest, Paty Kattkins, telling us about foot fetishes, the power of Burlesque, and her love for Madonna.

Paty is the Producer of Burlesque At Home! and has worked as a dancer for over a decade. Her performances move from the sensual to the daring, continually pushing the boundaries of Mexican nightlife, the country of her birth. As a representative of the LGBTQ++ community,  we talk with Paty about her reasons for starting her own inclusive footwear company. As well as her own preferences when it comes to intimacy.

  • Fostering Safety for Male Survivors of Sexual Violation - Alex Feis-Bryce

This week I'm joined by the wonderful Alex Feis-Bryce, current CEO of Survivors UK - an inclusive service for male-identifying survivors of sexual violation. Having previously worked as a political adviser, Alex was the founding CEO of National Ugly Mugs - an organisation supporting sex workers throughout the UK when they become victims of crime.  As a leader of change, we talked with Alex about his own personal experiences of sexual violence giving context to the work he does today. You'll learn a lot from what Alex has to tell us, as we discuss his experiences as a football-loving homosexual man and the changes that so desperately need to happen within the justice system to support survivors of sexual violence.

  • Sexual Orientations and the Journey of Drag - Paul Aleksandr

It's a pleasure to invite you into our third episode with drag performer and artist Paul Aleksandr.

Describing themself as a "genderf**kin glittery goth performer, clown, show host, and wordsmith", everything about Paul is mixed and non-reductive. They have been Master Of Ceremony for the wonderful Burlesque At Home, and it's a joy to step further into the mind of this magical mystical character.

Throughout this episode, I discuss with Paul the benefits of labeling our sexual orientations, how we can facilitate healthy conversations surrounding fetishes, and Paul's own journey of fueling self-confidence through drag performances.

  • Drawing on a Lower Sex Drive - Natasha Natarajan

    Natasha Natarajan
Writer, Artist, and Creator of FML Comics

Natasha first caught my attention through her zine series @fml.comics where she addresses topics such as race, sexuality, and mental health through refreshing honest dialogue and relatable, often naked, character drawings.

Knowing the openness of Natasha's work made me intrigued to know more about the woman behind the words. Throughout this episode, I discuss with Natasha her ways of navigating a lower sex drive and how she is confronting her own insecurities through conversational drawings.

I hope you enjoy this listen as much as I did,

  • Taking the Pressure off Pleasure - Irving Olvera

Irving Olvera, founder of pleasure and intimacy sharing app TLM YRS, talks about sexual awakenings and the lack of education.

Throughout this interview we hear Irving discuss his upbringing in Mexico, and how the LGBTQ+ friendly environment of London inspired him to launch the TLMYRS platform. We hear Irving describe his joy of Shibari (a Japanese style of bondage, and rope tying technique), and the reasons behind starting his storytelling community, TLM YRS. To finish, Irving tells us his own Sassy Story; a powerfully personal account of being drugged, and the repercussions of this coercive experience. I am endlessly grateful to Irving for the openness and bravery in sharing his story for others to relate to and learn from.

I hope you enjoy our first episode and stay tuned for next week when we'll be talking with comic writer and artist, Natasha Natarajan.

    Stay Sassy!

    Much love from your host
