This week’s episode Devon solves his unexplained exhaustion over the past few weeks before complaining about the Scream series of films.

Then Sejohn to honor the passing of Olivia Newton John, re-watched “Xanadu” and it turns out that films is just as much of a head trip in 2022 as it was in 1980.

This week’s episode we explore the latest in streaming news as it relates to the fate of HBO Max now that its new business daddy Warner Bros. Discovery has announced their plans for its future and the effect they may have on Netflix, Hulu, and DIsney+.

Additionally, some new and exciting things happened in the world of video game speed running and achievement bounties that we take a brief moment to celebrate before sharing our thoughts on the second booster pack for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

We kick off this week’s episode in the guise of Sesame Street using Sejohn’s existential crisis regarding animals ghosts as a way to educate the listeners on some of the lesser know terms used in theatre. 

Then Devon shares his experiences with season two of “The Morning Show” and the first season of “Farzar” and how they only raise further questions about what makes for successful streaming entertainment. 

Prepare for the usual winding road you’ve come to expect from your Say Reporters, but though yellow tinted glassed as this month we continue to look at the films that helped to build the friendship between your host-companions with a walk down memory lane with “The Simpsons Movie,” that turns into a marathon. 

In Addition to exploring how the film reflected the franchise and each of our own personal connections to it. We also plumb the depths for those lasting effects it has had on our friendship and the details it brought to light for us both.

After a potentially game changing announcement about Google Stadia... This episode Devon and Sejohn begin by sharing some of their experiences visiting restaurants post-COVID. Then they engage in a conversation about the differences between seeing a band and seeing a member of a band perform. Then after a brief discussion about their time with the streaming platform Tubi, Devon delights with stories of his time with the Delicious Last Course of "Cuphead" and the season two finale of "Walker."  

In what may prove to be the ultimate film that built the duo known as Devon and Sejohn into the podcasters they are today, we take a trip to Pengu Island to explore Sony Animation’s second film: “Surf’s Up”

Along the way we discuss the event that shook Sejohn to his core regarding how some people “watch” movies, Devon’s memories of Hollywood Video and how this movie helped to shape them, before ultimately celebrating how “Surf’s Up” helped to shape the technology and culture of the animated feature film.

This Week on the Say Report Devon finally closes the book on his Wings rewatch with a startling revelation about those episodes that aren’t available for streaming. Sejohn counters with the information that Paramount+ chose this week to release their feelings about censorship of old media. 

Then we share our latest adventures and finding in the video game space, before taking a brief moment to weigh in on the current shift happening to the political landscape of the USA. 

Finally a brief glance into our own Multiverse of Madness hopes to send things off on a happier note.
