There have always been those who will attempt to scam businesses. But lately with the advent of AI, the scammers now have access to bots.

This problem is far more prevalent through social media - especially Meta Messenger than anywhere else.

I don't want to fear monger, but it's becoming rare to find a business owner who hasn't received one of these bot messages on either Facebook or Instagram - these bots just mass message every business account they can find.

Knowing that these bot based scam messages are going around and what tactics they are trying is the best form of defence.

In today's podcast episode I'm giving you a few simple tips to identify these scam messages and be sure they're not a genuine customer sales request, so that you can keep your crochet business safe and secure without having to fear that you're missing out on a genuine sale.
