The average American child spends about 4 to 7 minutes a day playing outside and over 7 hours a day in front of a screen.  Whaaattt?

In today's episode Dr. Gina talks with writer and educator Angela Repke.  They discuss the impact nature had on Angela's life, and how she integrates "just getting outside" into her life and parenting.  

Perhaps we try too hard sometimes.  Listen, get out of the way and do a woods wander. It's a surefire way to increase connection and creativity.

Do you practice visualization?  Visualization requires you to use your imagination to play out a story, scene, or situation.  Have you ever visualized yourself having a difficult conversation ahead of time, presenting your pitch successfully, or nailing an upcoming job interview?  Research supports visualization as a tool to use as a tool to prepare for a future event or performance.  Meditation uses visualization in a similar fashion.
