What if God had a plan from the very beginning to fix what was broken?
When sin entered the world, everything changed. People were separated from God. Life became harder. Pain, struggle, and death became part of the story.
But God did not leave things that way.
Right from the beginning, God made a promise.
After Adam and Eve sinned, God spoke about a future victory over sin. In Genesis chapter 3 verse 15, He said that one day, someone would come who would defeat the enemy.
That was the first promise of a Savior.
Even though people had turned away, God was already making a way back.
As time went on, God continued to remind people of this promise.
He spoke through prophets. He gave signs. He made it clear that a Savior was coming.
This Savior would not be just any person.
He would come from a special family line. He would be sent by God. And He would deal with sin in a way no one else could.
The Bible says in Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…”
This was not just the birth of a child. This was the promise of hope.
God was telling people, “I have not forgotten you. I have not given up on you.”
Even when people failed again and again, God remained faithful.
That is something important to understand.
People change. People make promises and break them. But God keeps His promises.
Every time.
The Bible says in Numbers chapter 23 verse 19, “God is not a man, that he should lie…”
When God says something, it will happen.
For hundreds of years, people waited for this promised Savior.
They did not always understand how it would happen. But the promise remained.
Then, at the right time, God fulfilled that promise.
He sent Jesus.
Jesus was not an accident. He was not a backup plan. He was the plan from the beginning.
Everything God had promised pointed to Him.
Jesus came to do what no one else could do.
He came to deal with sin.
He came to restore what was broken.
He came to bring people back to God.
The Bible says in Luke chapter 2 verse 11, “For unto you is born this day… a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
That promise had finally come true.
And here is what that means for you.
God has not forgotten you either.
No matter where you are in life, no matter what you have done, God still keeps His promises.
And His promise of a Savior is for you.
Jesus came to save you.
He lived a perfect life. He never sinned.
Then He went to the cross and took the punishment for sin.
Not His own—but yours.
And three days later, He rose again.
He is alive.
That means the promise is complete.
Hope is real.
Forgiveness is possible.
But you have a choice.
A promise is only meaningful if you receive it.
You can hear about Jesus and walk away, or you can believe and receive what God has done for you.
If you feel something in your heart right now, that is God calling you.
He has been calling people since the beginning.
And today, He is calling you.
You do not have to wait.
You do not have to understand everything.
You can come to Jesus right now.
You can pray this:
Jesus, I know I have sinned. I believe You died for me and rose again. Please forgive me. Come into my life and save me. I trust You as my Savior. Amen.
If you just prayed that and meant it, the Bible says in Second Corinthians chapter 1 verse 20, “For all the promises of God in him are yea…”
That means God keeps His promises.
The promise of a Savior was real.
And now, through Jesus, that promise can change your life.
Today, you can receive it.
