  • Aaron Wilson Joins & Talks Texans Vs. Chargers Wild Card Kickoff
    Now with January upon us, the postseason has arrived for the NFL with the Wild Card games set to roll on starting tomorrow afternoon throughout the weekends entirety. Kicking off the Wild Card round first is none other than C.J. Stroud and our Houston Texans taking on Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. Noting the Texans struggles throughout the season and hoping to lessen them as we roll into the playoffs, NFL and Texans Insider Aaron Wilson joins the show in talks of a few keys for the Texans matchup against Herbert and the Chargers. Anticipating tomorrows kickoff Aaron also gives a few huge and determining factors that may dictate who may pull out of this Wild Card round the victors. With the odds leaning more towards the Chargers and Herbert, the Texans could make a huge statement following this game into the first round of this years playoffs with a message to the rest of the league that they do belong here in the postseason.

    With the New Year upon us and the start of pitchers and catchers inching closer than we think, the Astros have been active in the offseason aiming to add depth to their roster and make another run for another postseason. Acquiring more depth in the bullpen followed by some in the infield as well, many have raised huge question as to what the Astros may tend to do with veteran third baseman Alex Bregman. With options dwindling down for Bregman, the two organizations that are still interested in him happen to be the Boston Red Sox and the Detroit Tigers. Wondering as to why it's taking so long for Alex to sign his next contract and hashing through the scenarios, one caller brought up the scenario pertaining to the Astros scandal back in 17' may be the deciding factor in why teams interest in Bregman has dwindled. Is it possible the scandal the Astros had a few years back, the sole reason as to why not very many teams are interested in signing Bregman?

    With the postseason upon us now the Texans kickoff the playoffs this Saturday in one of the AFC's Wild Card matchups, taking on Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers right here at NRG Stadium. Finishing the season with ten wins and now kicking off the postseason with a home opener, many raise question as to how long or can this Texans team even contend for this Wild Card round amongst the other competitors they look to take on throughout the AFC division. Taking time to evaluate the Texans season, many of us have seen the constant struggles this year along the offensive line and the offensive play calling and wondering can the team shrink these struggles to further string along wins here in the postseason.   • Where Is The Patience Level When It Comes To Bobby Slowik & DeMeco Ryans?
    Wrapping up with Week 18 on Sunday, the Texans finish the season AFC South Division leaders with a standing at 10-7. Now with back to back ten win seasons, the Texans now roll into the postseason for their second year in a row. Evaluating last years production in comparison to this years, many believe that the Texans have regressed from last season. Following Stroud's rookie year, in which he played phenomenal in and gaining a year under his belt many believed the Texans would ascend to newer heights rolling into year two. Adding more depth to the roster and improving both sides of the ball the Texans appear to have an identical standing in their record this year from their record last year. Playing down in their schedule to playing up this year, both seasons have landed them in the postseason at 10-7. Lots of chatter around the city regarding not so much of the the players although they have struggled production wise, but the coaching and play calling that has put the team in a stagnant state this season. Sean and Brian pose the question, where is the line for patience in regards to the coaching and play calling from DeMeco Ryans and Bobby Slowik?

    With the conclusion of the quarterfinals this week and as we inch closer and closer to the National Championship, the semifinals have officially been set with Notre Dame beating Georgia yesterday afternoon claiming the 4th spot to further along advance. With the model now set, Notre Dame set to take on Penn State in the Capitol One Orange Bowl followed by Texas taking on Ohio State in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl next week to decide who advances to the National Championship. CFB Insider Josh Pate joins the show and evaluates the college football season this year and the teams that have made it into the semifinals along with what each team must do to solidify a win to advance to the big stage down in Atlanta Georgia at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the 2024-25 National Championship.
