    Over the course of the weekend amid the Conference Championship games in the NFL, turning to the MLB for a moment the Astros make a major move in regards to tuning up the roster for the start of the 2025 season. As weeks dwindle down before the meeting of pitchers and catchers, aiming to free up some cap space on the roster the Astros have parted ways with veteran reliever Ryan Pressly now sending him to the Chicago Cubs. With Pressly's departure to Chicago along with a payout of $5.5M, in return the Astros received right-handed pitcher prospect Juan Bello. Now with space freed up a bit, the Astros now favor in a chance to bring back their veteran third baseman to the roster before the spring arrives. Sean and Brian take a moment in the seven o'clock hour to discuss the possibility now with Ryan Pressly being traded to the Cubs, could the Astros really look to bring back their clubhouse veteran for a run at another postseason?

    With the conclusion of their season early in the Wild Card round with a loss to the Detroit Tigers, the Astros rolled into the offseason a bit earlier than most are use to. Falling short this season the Astros still have been the only team in the American League that has made a total of eight consecutive postseasons with a total of seven consecutive ALCS appearances. Looking to add more depth to the roster during this offseason, the Astros have shopped a bit but many say the Astros haven't added a Tier One or game changing player to make the roster a competitive one.     Rolling into the Divisional Round slate on Saturday in there afternoon kickoff, the Texans took on Pat Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in a chance to make their first ever AFC Conference Championship appearance. With a final score of 23-14 the Texans happen to fall short, now making it back to back seasons enduring a loss in the Divisional Round. Following predictions and forecasts made all week prior to Saturday's kickoff, many foresaw the obstacles the Texans would have to overcome to claim a victory over Kansas City. From self inflicted plays to missing scoring opportunities to the referees officiating, the Texans battled their greatest adversity in Saturday's game but still could not get over the Divisional Round hump.
