Following the weeks prior the Texans have now loss back to back consecutive weeks for the first time, dating back to C.J. Stroud's earlier weeks in his rookie year being Week 1 and 2. Losing against the Jets in Week 9 followed by a heartbreaking loss last week against Jared Goff and the Lions, the Texans roll into next weeks game with a bit of a chip on their shoulder taking on the Dallas Cowboys down in Arlington next Monday night. With Nico Collins set to return to the roster this week and coming off a devastating loss this past week against the Lions, the Texans look to spring back into action against a Cowboys team who aren't so much as the best in their conference and division. Rolling into Monday's game with a bit of normalcy with the return of a few players back, in what way if any could the Texans lose this state rivalry game against the Cowboys?

Rolling on into Week 10 of the season now, the Texans took on Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions in a bit of a showdown yesterday evening in Sunday night football. In what looked to be a standing statement in the first half regarding their depth and better pass protection amongst the offensive line, the Texans looked to be an actual powerhouse and division competitor in the beginning of the first half. Kicking off the second half, the teams momentum changed drastically as the Texans couldn't get the ball rolling and were shut out the rest of the game. Scoring nineteen points before the half to scoring zero in the second, the Texans fall short to the Lions with a final score of 26-23. With pieces beginning to mesh together in regards to pass protection and players stepping into their roles, Houston began to look aspiring although many feels there's still something missing. Following the loss, does the offensive play calling come into factor for the Texans losing this game against the Lions?

Last week the Texans took on Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets in Thursday night football in which they were not so victorious as the game concluded with a final score of 21-13. This week the Texans play on yet another big stage, being Sunday night facing another top competitor across the league this time in the NFC division. Leading their division and appearing as one of the best teams in their conference, the Texans take on Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions in what looks to be a huge showdown this Sunday night. Still lacking a few players, but adding a bit more depth to the offensive line before the deadline and hopeful that Nico Collins returns this weekend, the Texans roll into Sunday's game a bit optimistic. As the year rolls on MLB free agency kicks off, the Astros waste no time inquiring about players and aiming to try to get deals done before the start of spring training next season. First on the Astros list is none other than the phenomenal third basemen Alex Bregman, as he now arrives at the crossroads for either a newer contract extension or a new organization to call home. Dana Brown briefly speaks on the subject of Bregman's dealings along with Alex's agent Scott Boras and how he's optimistic that Bregman will return for the next season although, nothings for sure just yet. Also some chatter to bring Justin Verlander back for another season is also in the works of things as the veteran pitcher looks to still have some left in the tank. Could the Astros really offer a fair enough contract to bring Bregman back as an Astro before it becomes too late?
