Johnny was a touring musician but the rise of technology rapidly changed the music industry that he was so fond of. This made him turn to self-development. After applying the skills he learned and witnessing a drastic change in his life, he started to help others achieve the same. Anna is the Founder & CEO of Novelly – an ed-tech nonprofit that is creating youth-led spaces, both online and offline, for courageous conversations. Anna received her B.A. in Human Biology and interdisciplinary honors in Education from Stanford University, where Brock Turner’s sexual assault case happened during her senior year. This event had a big impact on her and would lead to the founding of Novelly four years after.

In this episode of The Seed – The Startup Journey, I will be interviewing Wayne Lee. Wayne is the Founder of Gokube, an electric bike-sharing company that started two years ago in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Its goal is to help combat air pollution in Kaohsiung while providing people with a convenient way of transportation that is much like the cloud which the Chinese legendary monkey Goku summons and rides at will. Prior to starting Gokube, Wayne has also founded a gaming company, as well as joined Blizzard and Riot Games in Taiwan as the Managing Director and General Manager respectively.
