King Josias kept the greatest passover to the Lord in Israel's history. And was loved so deerly, that when he died, the wrote a Lamentation for him and recorded it in the book of Lamentations.

After purging the land of wickedness and idolatry and while cleaning the house of the Lord, the book of the Law was discovered and read in the ears of the king. God forgave the king and let him go to his grave in peace before judging the people.

After Hezekias died, his son Manasses became an evil king who rebuilt the high places and the groves and made a gold idol he worshipped. God sent the king of the Assyrians to defeat Manasses and he repented in chains and fetters and was forgiven. He truly repented, but failed to undo all the harm he'd caused.

The wealth that came from the tithe enriched Jerusalem so much it attracted the king of the Assyrians who intended to defeat Jerusalem to plunder them. But Hezekiah and Isaiah prayed to God who destroyed the Assyrians and sent their king home in humiliation.

The tithes of the people produced abundance so that they began to heap their wealth up in large piles. Seven months later, the house of the Lord was full.

Hezekiah king of Juda uncharacteristically invites Israel to celebrate the passover in Jerusalem. It had been many years since all Israel celebrated the passover together in Jerusalem, the city of David dwelling-place of God. After much cleansing and purification, they had the feast, albeit a little late.

On behalf of all Israel, Hezekiah (Ezekias) repents and purifies the people and the house of the Lord.

God caused Israel to share his wrath for Juda and thus attack and conquer them, but afterwards the prophet of the Lord told Israel to release their captives or suffer God's wrath. And these good Samaritans clothed the naked, fed the hungry, and set them free.

king Joatham grew strong and Ammon paid him tribute

Ozias constructed elaborate weapons of war and became strong in the land. He then went to burn incense to the Lord which is only for the priests to do. After being warned he becomes angry, and so God smote him for his anger making him a leper. His son reigned over his kingdom.
