After defeating Idumea, Amasias takes their gods and then decides to war against Israel. So God humiliated him before his enemies for trusting in the gods of Seir.

After many years of kindness and council to king Joas, Jodae the priest died. And when Juda went astray his son, Azarias rebuked them in the name of the Lord. Forgetting the kindness of his father, king Joas kills the son of Jodae and the people buried Jodae the priest with the kings in honor, and king Joas in dishonor among the people in the city of David.

When Joas was old enough, Jodae the priest leads a coup to install him as king and slay Gothalia

Ochozias was the son of a daughter of Ahab and because she was his counsellor, she raised him to do evil as the house of Ahab. So God sent Jehu to slay Joram king of Israel and Ochozias king of Juda. And Gotholia, upon hearing of her son's death, slew all the king's sons except the youngest who was secreted away. And she reigned over Juda.

After Josaphat died, his first-born son, Joram became king of Juda and he slew all his brothers. He was married to a daughter of Ahab and walked in the ways of the kings of Israel. So God smote him in his bowels and he died a slow painful death.

The king of Israel started to build a stronghold in Rama to block the kingdom of Juda from Israel so Asa, king of Juda hires the Syrians to fight Israel displeasing God. The prophet Anani is imprisoned for informing Asa he was foolish to trust the Syrians. And Asa contracts a foot disease and dies.
