    A drive through the Rutland Hills leaves Lamont and Margo stranded near an isolated mansion on Wolf’s Head Knoll. As Margo’s injured ankle requires help from the mansion’s unsettling resident, a series of suspicious roadside hazards suggests the hills conceal a more dangerous design. The story draws on a Peter Barry script lineage also adapted for earlier radio dramas.
