Today's episode begins a NEW SERIES in which Matthew will take us on a wonderful journey through the books of Daniel and Esther.

The circumstances we find ourselves in are not the determining factor for our success.  They should never be.. for we are IN the world, but not OF the world.  Indeed, allowing oneself to be consumed by their environment.. to be pressed into some mold because of the way other people around them live, could never be God's plan for our lives.

Rather, we are to excel by being faithful children of God, putting service before ourselves and being excellent in all we do.

Matthew is in his own 'exile' of sorts, being incarcerated for a very long time.. yet he's not allowed his surroundings to force him into some worldly conformity.. rather he is here with us in spirit, on the streets, in your homes, and right here on your phones and computers.. using his voice to build The Kingdom of God.. THRIVING in his own personal 'Babylon'!

As he's discussed many times before, the purpose of our lives is to spiritually transform, being sanctified over the course of our lives into Christ conformity.  This conforming to the Image of Christ DOES NOT take our free will.. but rather opens up the floodgates of blessing so that we can TRULY THRIVE despite the often difficult conditions we find ourselves in.

NOW THIS IS AN EPISODE!

The conclusion of our 'Love Letters' series is wrapped with a series of prayers that are incredibly timely and important for blessing our family together!  Yes, this includes you! :D

Beginning with an introduction to this last epistle of the series - 3rd John (3 Yochanan) - Matthew breaks down the importance of standing firmly on the standard of truth - The Word of God - in the face of contradictory societal influences.

'The prayers at the end are long but important, with the 'Borchu', the 'Sh'ma', portions of the Amidah, the 'Kaddish', and the Aharonic Benediction (Aaronic) - both in Hebrew and English.  Please close your eyes for this and say, 'Amen' every time it's instructed.

Today's episode celebrates Sophia and my 10 MONTH ANNIVERSARY DAY!  THE BEST 10 MONTHS OF MY LIFE!  Living with Sophia by my side is the greatest blessing I've ever experienced.. and I know she was sent from Above!

You're my world Sophia Katia.. and I thank our SWEET LORD JESUS for sending you my way.. what a glorious year this has been!  Coming up on the one year anniversary of meeting you, and now having these 10 whole months as a couple.. what a BLESSING!
I'm so excited to see what the future holds!

Matthew then goes into 2nd Kefa (2nd Peter) with chapter 2, expounding on the political decay and corruption that has existed forever within human society as 'the True Way is maligned'..

'Let's examine ourselves through the lens of Romans 12, and think about the words of this incredible Book of 2nd Peter, making sure that we avoid the truly destructive heresies of false teachers who would be quick to look the other way as we fall into the traps they've set.'
