The Sorcerer

The Sorcerer symbolizes beliefs and ideas of division, struggle and being without. We feel the sorcerer casts a dark shadow over our lives, but in reality, the shadows are own. Those shadows are feelings of separation from loved one, colleagues, pets. Feelings of conflict and aggression to others in order to achieve our self-centred goals.

Our shadows may be narrow, broad, or generous in their focus. Either way, our busy mind loves to feed off the shadow energy and its negative feelings. The sorcerer, is asking you to look at these energies, examine how destructive they are. What are you feeling? Resentment, vengeance, lust, greed, bigotry, or hatred about or to whom or what. These feelings are unjustified and not your spiritual core which is pushed away without consideration.

The Sorcerer challenges you, confronts your dark thinking and beliefs. Now! Is a second chance! Start over. Be strong and be vigilant about the darkness you are beings asked to recognise, and then, to discard. 

Others are not blame for what is inside of you, what you allow to be there. Take a moment to create a sense of peace and move in another direction and do not allow those negative thoughts and feelings to grow again. You are done with them and that way of living.

The Gatherer

Your ships are coming in!

The gatherer is here to help you collect the bounty you have sown. Like a farmer you have worked at something in the belief it will grow into something beautiful and worthwhile. Something that will feed you and help nurture those you love.

It may have been something those around you do not value or tell you will come to nothing. They do not see the value in it that you do, they do not have seeds of their own to plant for their future. You have weathered the comments and the doubts showered on you. You have not followed their recommendations that would have meant giving up on your dreams, your beliefs. 

Now is the time to trust in the bounty that is arriving and that there is more to come. Concentrate on the abundance and push away thoughts of scarcity and limitation. You have enough of what you need to gather all the abundance ...

The Vision Quest

A vision quest is a way to come to terms with yourself and where you are spiritually. It is a journey through our feelings, our hopes and desires, what we want to manifest and our feelings about potential, opportunities and the sacrifices we are prepared to make. 

A shaman will undertake a vision quest to speak to souls and spirits to gain knowledge and perspective, good and bad and what is useful and what is not. They will do this for their own benefit but also the benefit of people they are asked to help. By undertaking vision quests, the shaman will understand how to unlock new possibilities, and close the door to ones that should end to allow the person to move on.

If you do not have a shaman, you can look into your hopes and desires and the fears and anxieties to see the direction in which you should be going. The Vision Quest is asking you to undertaking this personal vision quest at times when you feel stagnant, not progressing, or it is too hard to progress. If you are finding it difficult perhaps you should not be going in that direction?

The Vision Quest ask you to find some quiet time and get out of the house, join in the life force of nature. A house and a car keep you away from growing things. This quiet time will help you understand and tune in to what it is you need to be doing, not what you are doing. When you are outside, perhaps just in your back yard or garden, still busy mind, stop thinking tirelessly and consuming your essential energy. You will need all the energy you have for the new opportunities and the changes The Vision Quest will open up to you.

Luminous Warrior

The Luminous Warrior has no gender and enemies in this world or the next. Impeccable in word and deed, he or she focuses on their light rather than on what hides in the dark. The Luminous Warrior casts no shadow only radiant energy like the sun and can transform the most terrible enemy into their ally. Power comes not from the sword but from speaking truth at all costs.

Now is the time to focus on your positive traits and make sure they are clear to all around you. The positive in you is your light, your presence and power. The intention in that power is what helps you manifest what you want in life. Focus on what makes you strong, vibrant and full of natural wisdom and beauty. None of us is perfect, do not let worry or negative thoughts misdirect you, or, worry you.  Always, focus on positivity and what you do well. 

When you focus on positive actions and what you do well, you strengthen those traits in you and the universe takes notice. There will be little need for action, as you resolve all situations from within yourself.

Mistakes you have made in the past should not be repeated, whether it’s friendships, romantic relationships or work. Do not let yourself repeat what does not serve you or dulls your presence. If the thought of doing so brings anger, release it. Do not hurt the yourself or the people who are dear to you.

Upper World

To the shaman the Upper world is a place of light, strength and power. It is filled with angels, spirits and souls of those who have ascended. It is a place of divine help, a place to visit when Soul Journeying to find answers to help someone in need. Your destiny holds the map to who you will become and what you will be. Corn represents the mother; it represents sustenance and tangible abundance. Corn is material prosperity, good fortune in a form that fills the bellies, hearts and minds of many. It tells us there is more than enough to go around.

You have dreams and hopes for the future. A farmer knows that hard work is required to help what they have planted grow and be abundant. Your dreams have required hard work to bring them to where they are today. When storms ravage their fields, farmers still go out to help their plants grow. They have faith that they will reap a harvest, even if at the moment they are not sure of it. 

Like a farmer, you must continue working on your field of dreams.

Now the spirit of the Corn. The card comes to honor and show you a bountiful harvest. 

This is the time to reap the rewards of hard work and trust, whether those rewards are financial or the kind of prosperity measured in quality rather than quantity. You are so blessed when this symbol appears. 

Don’t forget to share your good fortune.

Also, beware of shortcuts to your dreams or a fast track being offered to you now. They will not bring the good fortune you think they will. 

Feelings of entitlement or an expectation to get something for nothing. This is a time for gratitude, perseverance, and humility for what you receive. Know that working hard to make your dreams happen fills your dreams with substance and energy. A shortcut does not, it creates hollow dreams and lack of appreciation or understanding of your dreams for you personally. Respect the energy required to make your dreams reality and respect what you have put into your dreams.

Release any insecure thoughts of scarcity, feeling that there is not enough, or worry that someone else could take what is yours. Know that the universe will always provide, but you must be in a relationship with it in order to receive. You will reap what you sow. Take heart; even if you didn’t plant well and have conjured up the illusion of a drought, there is always a new season to begin again.

The staff is the symbol of authority. It appeared in the reading for 2020/10/19. This repeating message tells you have not acted. The shaman’s staff is the home of a helping spirit the shaman uses during his healing practices. The spirit in the staff helps and guides and supports you physically and emotionally to find the right course of action. It tells you to move the tip of the staff forward so you can take the step you are intended to take.

The staff again reminds you of the impermanence of all things, and that your authority must come from your deep longing to serve.

Now is the time to study your life path, the next step on your journey. As you ponder the step, recognize that you have already decided to take it, what is missing in action. Use the strength and balance the spirit in the shaman’s staff gives you to move from the negative and inaction to the positive and action. Do It Now! 

The Heart of Sky is Creation. It is love and the life force making all things possible. 

To the shaman the sky is air, one of the essential five elements. Air is flow, movement strength and force. A strong wind that really has no substance can blow over a strong tall tree as well as a building if it is not built well or insecure.

Think of anger, discomfort, fear, unhappiness, even minor illness such as a headache. Negative thoughts and fears. Those thoughts and fears will make you unhappy, feel down or depressed. Let the wind blow those away and leave your psyche clean and clear, and refreshed.

The sky is also space because through air we see the stars and the void between them, space is also an essential element for the shaman. Let yourself be open to the wonder you are seeing and relax. Let the infinity of space come into your being and give you a sense of limitlessness.

When you concentrate on space your mind is clearer, less cluttered and more energetic. You have less tension; you feel less disrupted. You can sit back and see the big picture and at the same time, seize the opportunities coming to you because you have more space to accommodate them.

The Heart of Sky reminds you that you are a channel for the original energy of creation. Become the paintbrush, the canvas, and the artist, all guided by the Heart of Sky. Set your intention, ethically and clearly,

The Beloved. Spirit exits in each and every one of us. We are in love when we recognize Spirit in another. That is when we truly fall in love. As we mature and we are able to recognize Spirit more deeply in ourselves, we begin to see it more deeply in others and can understand it in them.

Spirit in another is not surface or ego love. Let the other person show their true selves. Give them time and yourself time to understand each other. If they are only acting as a mirror, reflecting your own surface desires and hopes, and you do not recognize this, you will endure false emotions and hurtful love which will damage both of you for some time to come.

Open your eyes and proceed cautiously in a new relationship.

When Standstill appears, we are asked to pause. We are moving too fast, or we are moving in the wrong direction. Now is the time to stop, look around and observe your situation. We need to sit down if we are standing or lay down if we are sitting. If we are stuck and not moving forward, we need to rest. Non action, is action, if we use the time and the energy it gives us correctly.

Standstill may also appear when nothing is happening, we are not progressing and there is a feeling the universe has forgotten us and is not sharing anything with us anymore. Remember, no one or thing can move constantly without rest being required. Allow yourself to rest now. 

Rest is also peace. Allow peace to flow through you as information and facts come to you. When they do, consider them peacefully and generously and relax as the wheel of fortune spins in your favour. For now, enjoy the beauty that is pausing before more action. Enjoy it. Control the egoic mind stop it from burning your precious energy and creating worry, doubt, anxiety and fear. Let the universe bring all the parts together for the highest good. Go and play, recharge, and take the focus off whatever has stalled. Life will get busy again for you sooner than you think.

Recognize that the egoic mind also likes to engage in endless analysis – analysis paralysis - that leads to no action but consumes vital energy. Analysis paralysis blocks you and those around you. Now is the time to consider whether you are going in the right direction in a relaxed manner. You have been given this time to stop a project, to exit before damage and without any cost.

So, let’s get to the subject of this Podcast…

The Sun is power, brightness, energy, it is good fortune. It is the sun that gives energy to the world, to the plants and all living things, including you. It is celebrated for the beauty of its sunrise and sunset. It can also be destructive, a scorching summer day.

Right now, in North America, it is fall, mornings are dark and nights start early. Events that send us to our secluded space. To have a nap and draw in emotionally. But this card showing up now tells you your brightness, humour, and fun are needed by the people you know. There is too much seriousness in the world and the world needs you. It is time to get out and shine like the sun.

The day is brightened by the sun but that is only half of the 24 hours in a day. The night, brightened by the moon, which reflects light form the sun, has its value and its charms. Do not put all your energy into the daylight, keep some for the night. This is a message not to send out all your energy during the day and have nothing left for the night. Also, as you send out your energy do not compete with or be overcome by the energy for others.

The medicine wheel is a sacred hoop marked by the four cardinal directions honored by shamans and other spiritually awake people. As a circle, it contains the energy of the cycle of life, of existence for all people, all animals, and all plants. 

To manifest clear blue skies in your life, it is important that you take a look at certain aspects of your existence. Enter the medicine wheel from the south and reflect on how you are still clinging to events from the past. Continue to the west and notice which relationships are toxic and drain your energy. Step into the north and ask yourself: “Do I know my passion and do I show it?” End at the east, visualize how you want to live the next chapter of your life. It is up to you how much time you spend in each direction—minutes, days, or months. But when you are done, make sure to step outside the wheel and contemplate your journey.

Healing is important to you, start it NOW! Healing is not easy. Seek out a Reiki Master/Teacher, or a White Shaman to help and guide you. Now is the time to take a step forward, to heal and also recognize your life path purpose. Every journey of a thousand miles starts with one step, so says the Chinese proverb, choose your path and take that step, and do not deviate from it. Do not look down at your feet,

The Wild Woman is someone full of life and energy, dancing and singing. Enjoying life. They are bright and energetic, and live beyond social conformity. They are a beacon of shining light that comes from within. Their presence glows with their natural inner essence. Whether it is social restrictions or their conformity required in the work place, they seem to be free of it, or, make what they do glow and seem attractive. 

Do not let social convention or a dreary work place or work tasks suppress your inner glow and presence. No one fits in a box, least of all you. In these tough COVID-19 times, it is your time to express yourself and shine brightly. Karma and life will decide what will happen, again, stop worrying! Live!

The Child looks at the world simply, everything is joy and happiness. You are being brought to a time of innocence and happiness for the second time except this time you turn with knowledge and life experience you did not have the first time. 

You have a second chance to join your life path purpose and experience the good karma of your actions. To join your life path, you need to be open to learning what it is and how your life is integral to the journey. When you are looking in the mirror, who is looking back at you, the egoic mind of worry, doubts, and fears, or someone awake and in step with the meaning of their life? Does that person in the mirror know and appreciate the value of fun and laughter, joy and happiness? If not, make a promise to yourself to do something fun and happy today, and every day to cast away the dark shadows the egoic mind has cast over your existence so far.

The gatherer does not stockpile, the Gatherer trusts in the bounty around them.

In this stressful time of COVID and global pandemic. Look at the resources round you, what you have provided for yourself in days, weeks, months and years gone by. Be grateful for what you have and tell the Universe. Now is not the time to buy more, you are rich in your abundance. Prepare for the next phase of your life with a mindset of abundance and prosperity, that will attract more abundance and prosperity into your life. If your mind is fixed on what you do not have or that what you have is not good enough, that is the way it will turn out. Turn off these negative thoughts and looks at the positive and what you can do with what you possess.

The Crow requires we speak and practice truth in all things. This may mean correcting what is wrong in your life. Do not judge yourself. Truth is everything and your way forward from now. Do not dwell on whether you should act truthfully in a situation, just be truthful and do not let busy mind or ego persuade you otherwise. 

When things do not go as planned, it is the coyote at work. When plans do not work out or have to be changed suddenly, this is an opportunity for learning and growth in ourselves and other around us. What we learn from these happenings is intended to be for our highest good. The challenge is not to feel obstructed and downbeat, look up and learn and thank the universe for the lesson. The lesson maybe of faith, unexpected delays and detours ensure your intentions do not waiver. 

The detour maybe to make sure you are ready for the gift you have asked for. When that happens be ready to learn from the detour and your manifestations will be all the more beneficial for you.
