Bruce is intimately familiar with the origin and history of Reiki after studying in Japan. Today, join us as we dive into a discussion of the Japanese kanji that form the word 'Reiki' exploring how their meaning sheds light on the Shamanic Roots of a Reiki practice.

Although we traditionally see Reiki as a Divine energy, almost separate from the Earth, this enlightening discussion shows how Shamanic practices and ideas were deeply integrated into traditional Reiki teachings.
