Jazmen Jackson has entered the building...and she wants to rewire the way we think about the term "Strategic Planning". Actually, she wants us to stop using the term. When the episode was over I immediately started updating what I considered my business strategy and you will too, I promise. At minimum, you'll give your strategy a review.

My number one takeaway is that strategy isn't set it and forget it. Instead, it's living and breathing. And ALL of your business decisions should be rooted in that strategy.

"The project manager came to me and said that the client asked for a better overview of the orders and status. Our guys keep sending him messy Excel sheets that gives him a headache.

A few weeks ago, I shouted out Constance Jackson on my segment, LinkedInLove. Today, she joins the show to give us a run down on how her mind works and how she got to where she is today.

She talks about her move from Florida to Washington and what that did to her mental state. She tells us why she was given an honorable discharge from the military without serving ONE day!

We learn why her first real job caused her to always keep her financial house in order.

Then Constance tells us about how she entered the public sector world by helping parents get their child support money.  BTW...did you know that Lockheed Martin was in the business of child support at one point!? Listen in for more on that.

A SharePoint site is a GREAT way to collaborate with these folks. Can you imagine? All the things I talk about...can you imagine being able to do that with folks outside of your organization?! It would bring your collaboration to the next level!

The issue is...Microsoft doesn't make it easy...or simple...But I do :-)
