Did your upbringing f*ck you up?!

We are conditioned and programmed from childhood with certain beliefs, standards and views of the way we see the world!

Whether it be from our parents, generations before us, family, school, whatever it is - these beliefs were learned at such a young age and have stuck with us into adulthood.

Which means quite frankly, they could be helping us, or f*cking us up!

Until we really dive into our own self healing journey, do the shadow work and take a look in the mirror, sometimes these things go unnoticed for our entire lives.

But the beautiful thing is, that when you do go all in on your self healing journey and decide that this isn’t the way it has to be written and you want to change - YOU CAN!

This is literally REPROGRAMMING!

Such an amazing, beautiful, empowering thing and also probably one of the hardest things you will do in your life, but I promise you so worth it!!!

In this episode I go all into how I struggled for so much of my childhood and young adult life because I was so angry and really didn’t know how to express it. How this played into my relationships, my habits and so much more. And what I did to realize, stop and change this pattern so that it wasn’t passed down to my daughter!

Here we are, breaking generational trauma patterns one day at a time!

You can do it, you are worthy of it and you deserve it!

Ever thought about what you are consuming daily?

In this episode I talk all about where your time goes, your energy flows. What you consume daily is that same energy that you are attracting.

Vibrational frequency, abundance, gratitude - it is all an energy and if you are vibing at a good energy, more good is going to happen for you.

This also goes with what we are consuming daily. I erased my Tiktok for months because I noticed that the energy it was making me feel was so negative and heavy.

It is being consciously aware of who and what we surround ourselves with and putting those beautiful boundaries in place of not settling for shit that is not serving us!

Ever heard of mom guilt? Well coming into motherhood I had not and it stopped me right in my tracks!

It was like feeling like you need a break so bad and then when you get the break, feeling so bad that you ever needed it in the first place.

Working through mom guilt is something I think will always be a continuous journey but also something I have been working on so hard to beat!

With having a two year old and now being pregnant with my second baby, I know that in order to pour back into anyone else's cup, my cup first needs to be filled.

I have used mindset practices, daily routines and really diving into what I am feeling and needing to help me through this beautiful journey of motherhood and I am excited to share it with you in hopes of helping you on your journey as well.

Remember mama, you deserve time for yourself also to fill your cup back up without feeling bad about it. In order to be the best mother, wife and human - you have to give to yourself first.

YOU NEED TO FILL YOUR CUP UP!!!

It is essential and crucial to your mental, emotional and physical health that you are making time each day to fill your cup up! I’ve said it so many times; but you can not pour from an empty cup! It is impossible.

Visualize an actual cup, that is completely filled to the top, now there are a bunch of different sized empty cups surrounding this one big filled cup. You take the big cup that is filled and you slowly start pouring little by little into each one of the other cups. After a quick pouring session, you are now left with an empty cup.

Now, imagine this cup is YOU!

If you are not setting aside time every day to fill your cup back up, you are eventually trying to pour from an empty cup. Which will in turn, lead you feeling depleted, overwhelmed and fed up in your current environment.

Self care is never selfish - it’s necessary!!!

Ditching the toxic vibes, literally! Learning how to change your perspective and change your life. When you are in control of your mindset, you are in control of your life! You are literally winning at life then!

We are practicing reframing. Taking feelings of overwhelm and reframing them to a place of gratitude instead. With simple techniques that are scientifically proven to work, it’s so easy to shift your mindset.

Setting the best positive boundaries for yourself and enforcing them. Not putting up with any toxic shit from anyone. Whether it’s family, friends, spouse. Say it with me, we are not allowing it anymore! Understanding that it’s not our jobs to make sure every single relationship in our life works out. Sometimes things happen for a reason and for a season. If someone or something is taking your peace, we have no space for it any longer. Remember, sometimes going all in on you, your healing journey, your self development, means closing the doors to relationships that are no longer serving you.
