The term 'Empowerment' is one that we see, use and hear so often. If I had a cent for every time I have seen a post on Instagram about female 'empowerment' I am pretty sure I could retire quite soon. If I had a cent for every time I myself have posted using the hashtag #womenempowerment I could probably retire NOW. So this show is dedicated to 'Empowerment' - discussing what it really is, why we need it, what it ISNT, and how we empower others.
Host and Founder Trudy Kerr sits down with three women who have an understanding and experience of empowerment firsthand.
Moira Delia is one of Malta’s most loved personalities, television presenter, events presenter, animal campaigner, and a woman whose passion to be a voice for those who do not has come at personal cost, but a woman who always aims to empower action and change.
Sarah Woods is one of the founding mothers of empowerment in Malta - Sarah is the Co-Founder, Owner and Director at SHE: Social Hub Entrepreneurs which launched in 2017 and brings women in business together through their events and forums.
Sabrina Demanuele - Head of Live Casino at Comeon Group is also a very keen and accomplished horse woman, but in a recent bespoke TSW show Sabrina spoke with wisdom and empowerment far beyond her years.

A powerful and meaningful must-see show.

A recent survey by 'In Her Sight' found that 73% of women are looking to change careers, 23% up from the previous year. Reasons given include the need for more pay, the desire to find a career that they can believe in and the result of burnout. Women stated that lack of connections in the career of choice was the number one barrier to resetting their path, but in this show Helen sits down with three women who have done just that.
Joining Helen is Iona Muscat, an accomplished and passionate Archaeologist who jumped at the opportunity to completely change career when a recrutement call to join the Armed Forces of Malta as an officer landed on her lap. Conversations women rarely have, but really should

A 2022 survey showed that the gap between women and men is almost double what it was the previous year, with 42% of women feeling 'burned out' - although productivity is seeing an all time high.

Grief affects almost every single person on the planet in one way or another. And yet, here in the west we rarely discuss the pain and loss that is part and parcel of grief. The most common causes of grief are death, divorce, loss of job, health complications, but the a death of a pet or the loss of a home are also major events that people grieve.
Whilst we know grief to cause sadness, and perhaps depression, experts associate 6 stages to the grief process which are interchangeable and far from linear. Grief also has very tangible physical manifestations - and in some instances - very serious.
Host Trudy Kerr is joined by three honest, open and outstanding women for this episode. Alison Kelly has spoken out publicly relating to the loss of her new born son Jack, and her battle with breast cancer - which she identifies as the result of her profound grief and loss, Stef Deguara, is a familar face in theatre circles, larger than life and a beautiful lady who is currently dealing with living grief as her beloved mother slips away from her over a long illness and Anna Borg Bartolo is a Counselling Psychologist, Gestalt Psychotherapistwith a special interest in grief and assisting those in the grieving process.
The show addresses a wide variety of aspects concerning grief and loss, as well as looking at the expectations often associated with the healing process, and the ways to support - and be supported during the time of grieving.
Watch the show, take comfort and be seen.
