Luke 6:27-36

Prior, Jesus has told his disciples that they will be persecuted for following him.

The question then becomes "how should we respond when we are persecuted? This is the subject of today's conversation of faith as we look at "a new love ethic."

Luke 6:17-26

Today we get to listen into Jesus' words to the disciples as He teaches us on the Kingdom of God.

The Kingdom of God is a complete REVERSAL of the kingdom of this world.

"Don't compare your stuff to other peoples stuff!" Scott unpacked verses 12-16 of chapter 6 and reminded us how God feels about us and challenged us to express the way we feel about God.

Luke 6:1-11

Today we see Jesus questioned regarding the Sabbath. Within this we are invited to look at our motivations - why do we do the things we do? Are we attempting to earn Gods favor, or, is it due to a growing love for Jesus?

Luke 5:33-39

Today Jesus is confronted by the Pharisees regarding fasting. As Jesus answers, we are reminded of:

1) Who we are in Christ.

2) The new has come.

Luke 5:27-32

Today we see Jesus as He calls Levi to follow Him.

What does a it look like to follow Jesus?

What does a life transformed by The Gospel look like? These are just a few questions we address today.

Luke 5:12-26

Today we look at two stories...which are actually one story. Within this we see Jesus compassionate enough to reveal to us our greatest need, and His ability to meet us in our greatest need.

Today we look at 3 stories that all center on the same subject: Authority.

Within these stories we see just how different Jesus truly is, and we are confronted with the Lordship of Jesus in our lives.
