The Shift Gear Podcast

Happy New Year! Thanks for sticking with us through another year :) This week, we break down our 10 best cards of the year. These cards were selected based off their usability and performance through the last year. We tried to stay away from major deck archetype cards (like Gardevoir ex or Dragapult ex) just to make things interesting. What did we miss? Let us know down below!

Welcome back to another history lesson on the channel. This week, we put together our personal lists of the top cards in Pokèmon history that made the game worse. Our criteria for this was to identify cards (or combos of cards) that changed the game in a way that made the overall experience more negative. A lot of the time, these cards were used to create game breaking or broken combos that were way above the power level that existed regularly at that time. What did we miss? Let us know down below which of these cards you hate the most 👽

Description : Well fellas, it’s been a long time since this has happened. Tord Reklev’s secret-ish creation absolutely DOMINATED this week’s regionals. After leaking on Wednesday, we all knew this deck would be in the meta in some capacity, but I don’t think any of us could have guessed how good it would succeed across the board. All that and recaps of this weekend’s regionals in this weeks episode. Do you think this deck is a long term tier 1 deck?
