In her search for foodie inspiration Noni Needs caught up with some very special folks at the Pig in The south Downs, Madehurst near Arundel.

It's very easy to impress our queen of recipes - show her a good pickled vegetable and she's in heaven.

At a friends birthday supper in February Noni Needs saw the huge jars of pickles on display at The Pig in The South Downs and had to investigate.

She went back to find Mr Pickle himself. Really, they call him Mr Pickle. What a find.

Mr Pickle happens to be Head Chef, Kamil. He very kindly showed Noni the Pickle room. And so her love affair with Pickling begins.

Becca Fraser talks Noni Needs through one of Constance's original recipes, Coronation Chicken.

The Cookbook pictured is Becca's Grandmother's, bought in 1966. The book has been passed down to her via her mother.
