Friends! Sometimes life is a mega rollercoaster and that would be a perfect description of what my life has felt like. With school starting up on the road there have been some massive feelings ricocheting off the metal walls of our trailer. As uncomfortable as were some of the recent challenges I am grateful for the blessings and lessons God has taught me when I was figuratively and literally stuck in a rut.

In today's COME FOLLOW ME sabbath prep episode I share the scripture in 3 Nephi 1:13. I love how Heavenly Father answers our prayers, He is control of the timeline and His prophecies will be fulfilled in the perfect time.

We are awaiting our Savior's second coming and He will come, our prophets prophecies will be fulfilled so let's all link arms, exert patience and find something to be of good cheer.

On Sunday we were talking about Samuel the Lamanite and the messages he was inspired to share with the Nephites and I remembered how if life had gone the way I had hoped I would have hid my treasures unto myself. As I shared this story with my kids their surprised look cracked me up.

Tubing the river can be a bunch of fun until you face a head-on wind. Then the fun experience turns into a frustrating and exhausting one. In some cases, it can become dangerous. 

I share in today's episode how sometime you might need to tether yourself to a bigger more powerful boat when the wind is blowing to help you maneuver the river and get to where you are planning on going. 

Would tethering yourself to another be helpful to your progression or is there someone that would benefit from being tethered to you?

The book of Helaman is igniting my heart and mind on fire! I am soooo grateful for the constant reminders Nephi is offering to the people. Today. I share an analogy my dad taught us the other week; Will you be an egg or a potato?

I was exerting all my energies to draw upon heaven's power to change someone. The truth is I don't have the power to change anyone and God won't change people who don't seek and choose change.
