If you feel prompted to start a life in Christ or rededicate your life to Christ, this is the prayer to pray:

“Dear God,

I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

Recommended Next Steps after this prayer:

- pray (talk to God) that God gives you wisdom of what to do

- get a Bible (and/or download the Bible App)

- join a Bible-believing Church 

- start reading the Book of Mark in the Bible 

- don't focus on your old life/sin. You've been made new in Jesus Christ <3

The works of the flesh. Sin. It's such a big topic I've split it into multiple episodes!

But seriously, following on from the last episode (the fruits of the Spirit), I believe it's important that we know what the works of the flesh are so that we can know what we are avoiding (or know what we need to repent of - there's no shame in it!)

Please know that I never seek to judge anyone through these episodes so don't feel like I'm condemning or judging you - I'm not. I'm simply trying to make what the Bible says clearer to us so we can live lives pleasing to God.

But I do get real about some of the challenges including self-identity struggles, questions about relationships and some things I've found personally difficult.

What better way to celebrate a milestone episode than by reminding ourselves of the Gospel?! But truly, the Gospel is quite literally the message of salvation so it is the most important thing that a person can hear. I hope in this episode to make the message of the Gospel (the good news about how Jesus offers us salvation and a life in Him) clear, especially for those who haven’t heard it before, and I pray I have done that.
