Secondary school students in Hong Kong demonstrated, urging the government to investigate police brutality. On Monday North Korea said it was ready to resume talks with the US on denuclearization in late September. There was a counter G7 gathering nearby with a climate and justice march with 14,000 anti-capitalist protestors.
