The Shotgun Mike Hostettler Show

Does anybody remember that TV show called 'Lost'?  It was a weird show that didn't know what it was going to be about so it kept changing and adding new twists but they were never sure where it was going.  They didn't care.  They just wanted to keep it going and make more money and sucker people in to watch it.  Then one day they had to end the show because they could make more money doing something else so they just made a shitty ending and ended.  On this episode we delve into how the world around us has become the television show 'Lost' and we are nearing the part where we find out it was all a dream or something like that.

Vengeance has no place here.  Not on this episode.  This episode is about social acceptance and conformity.  Who doesn't want to be part of the gang?

But social acceptability isn't a skill that just comes naturally!  You have to spend hours listening to the Shotgun Mike Hostettler Show before you start to realize that you don't really care if you're accepted socially.  That's when you'll know you finally understand it.

Venus in retrograde means that Venus appears to move backward across the sky when viewed from Earth. This happens because of Earth’s and Venus’s changing positions as they orbit the Sun, while Venus continues along its normal path.  In astrology, Venus represents love, attraction, beauty, pleasure, money, and personal values. Its retrograde period, lasting roughly six weeks, is interpreted as a time to reconsider those parts of life. Astrologers associate it with relationship tensions, old feelings resurfacing, and former partners reappearing. They also connect it with rethinking spending habits, personal tastes, and what makes people feel valued. For the population generally, the astrological idea is a shared period of reflection about relationships and priorities. However, there is no reliable scientific evidence that Venus retrograde causes changes in people’s emotions, relationships, or behavior.  In the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974), Pam, played by Teri McMinn, is a young woman who talks about astrology. Her warning concerns Saturn being in retrograde, adding to the movie’s ominous atmosphere.

On this episode we delve deep into the psychosis to unravel the truth and break down the barriers.  We explore the ever growing tensions in the Middle East, shifting trends in the global climate and work hard to dissect meaning from this otherwise absurd existence we are all being forced to endure.

No!!  I'm just kidding.  On this episode, we listen to an audio recording of this really squeaky door in the apartment building I live in.  It's amazing.

What more can one say that hasn't been said in the title?  And now I've made reference to the title in the description so even if I do come up with a better one, I won't be able to use it.  I guess I could just change it and see who even reads the descriptions.  I have 9,600 characters left but I'll probably just let them go.  On this episode I talk to our old friend Murphy about the future of the show.  He's always played a pivotal role in the Shotgun Mike Hostettler Show and he's here today to put his foot down!!  Enough of all these shenanigans!!  It's time to get to work!

On this episode, I talk to Serj.  I had to reupload it because I think there's some audio mastering plug in that the host of this podcast is applying and it's really screwing things up so I'm going to reupload it.  The episode before this does it too but I thought that I had missed something, but no!!   Something is happening and I'll figure this out.

On this episode I talk to Serj who was in a cult that wanted to murder everyone and take over the world.  I know what you're thinking.  Who hasn't been in a cult that wanted to murder everyone and take over the world?  But Serj is different.  He has heart.  This kids going places!!

On this episode we talk to none other than author/philosopher/psychologist Steven Kubacki about what happened back in 1978 when he up and disappeared without a trace.  Sure, he returned fifteen months later but he didn't really talk about what happened to him.

Well he's talking about it now in his new book The Disappearance: Conspiracy, Revolution, Revelation… The Extraordinary Disappearance of Steven Kubacki (After 45 Years of Silence).  It's a story of revolution, philosophy, a little romance I'm told.  I mean...what more could you ask for?!  I just got my copy right here at Amazon.  Get yours now before they're gone!!
