When you hear the words of an injured friend, an angered child, or an infuriated lover, they do not sound like they are trying to communicate these phrases. The truth is that our bond with the person/persons we love are held together by the belief that we are safe with them. The more secure and protected we feel, the more connected and understood and supported.

Please use this episode to help you engage with this principal of love and relationship. Spend some time contemplating this and and reflecting on the relationships that you are in.

I wonder how many of our friends and how many of our listeners still wonder how the F we manage to stay healthy and happy among so many children (five) in this modern world. One thing that helps unify us as an "Us" is our fifth child. We didn't know, or pretend to know the effect of having a child together would have on our already complicated family dynamic, but we followed our hearts and our minds and ended up with a child who was not embroiled in step-parenting drama. These are some of the effects of having a child together after becoming a blended family.

We humans are no more than 15% different from any other, biologically speaking of course. Somehow, we can seem so much more opposed to other people than that! Consider the most unexpected things people have done around you while they were with you under the pretense of offering you an exclusive look at who they are...
