My guest is journalist, author, gossip columnist Flo Anthony. "Florence "Flo" Anthony is a gossip columnist, syndicated radio host, TV contributor and author. She is an African-American reporter who writes for the gossip page of the Philadelphia Sun. [1] Anthony resides in the East Harlem section of New York City.[2]
Florence Anthony is a graduate of Howard University.[citation needed]'After working as a publicist for sports legends like Muhammad Ali, Butch Lewis, Michael Spinks, Larry Holmes, Mike McCallum and Matthew Saad Muhammad; Anthony wrote in the mid-1980s entertainment news.[citation needed]
She became the first African-American reporter to work on the gossip column of the New York Post,[citation needed] as well as the first African-American to pen a column in The National Examiner.[citation needed] An expert on everyone from Michael Jackson and O. J. Simpson to Whitney Houston and Donald Trump, Anthony was a contributor on news magazine shows like Inside Edition, The Insider and Entertainment Tonight.[citation needed]

In July 2014, he returned to Piney Woods as the first alumnus to serve in this capacity. A trained University of Chicago and Harvard educator, he is also a lawyer and 聽Civil Rights expert, having served as a Senior Advisor in the Office for Civil Rights at the US Department of Education for President Barack Obama. My guest on this episode is Ruth Hunt, a model, a former 聽healthcare executive, and a long time genealogist. She was also the project manager and first employee of the Jackie Robinson Foundation. She helped to create the framework of this great non- profit organization that keeps the memory of Major League Baseball's first Negro player. As a genealogist, she has wonderful stories on discovering her own ancestry line, all the way back to the 1300's. It is a thought provoking, informative yet funny episode. A must see!

My guest is the extraordinary Dr. Richard Allen Williams, a world renowned cardiologist. He founded the Association of Black Cardiologist 50 years, when there was only 2 Black Caridiologists in the United States. He founded the Minority Health Institute when it was not popular to talk of the health disparities between the races. He is an international on hypertension, healthcare disparities, diabetes, obesity,heart failures and sudden cardiac death. He was honored by the American Heart Association with their LifeSaver Award.
Additionally... he is a renowned jazz trumpeter, who has worked or learned from some of the jazz icons of all time. It is a MARVELOUS episode!!!聽
