It's a new semester for me and I thought I'd share some productivity and study tips that got me through first semester, and got me A 4.0.
Tips:
1. GET A GOOD PROF (don’t just look at numbers read the actual reviews and make sure they are recent)
2. read the assignments in detail, go to lecture when prof is explaining it, ask questions
3. start early or come up with an outline of what you want to do early
4. know how you work. some people finish what they start. i am not one of them.
5. plan out your schedule! wake up early!
6. have breaks! have a day off!
7. it’s not about how much work you do but the quality! know that your work is good, don’t just hand it random shit
8. read feedback or ask for some!
9. always use as many quotations and sources as you can. reference course material. always keep it direct, and following instructions
10. GOOD NOTES ARE KEY, get everything down even if you think it’s irelevent, ctrl f is your best friend
11. STUDY EARLY! never cram,
12. QUIZLETS
13. location helps i hear idk
14. why ppl procrastinate: there’s not as much at stake from doing it now.
15. reward yourself!
16. fear and spite are great motivators
17. don’t stress out too much about it, you can always drop and retake a course, check when marks start to count (3rd year for me)
